Looking forward to this one.
I don't find much on that list to be excited about. I don't like shooters, so that knocks the list down quite a bit. Hopefully the new MotorStorm is worth the money. I rented the first one and there wasn't enough there to justify $60 for it, but you can get it for about $30 used now, so I'll probably go ahead and pick that up. LittleBigPlanet will be worth a try just because it seems to be something new. With my luck I'll get addicted to the thing.
...to be successful.
The 360 is a great machine with a great lineup of games. I own neither Gears of War nor Halo and I still have many great games to play. I think that Microsoft Game Studios has done a great job of releasing great games since the console released.
It's too early to count anyone out yet.
I completely disagree. Nintendo has wonderful customer service. They've practically bent over backward to make me happy. I've never had a problem with Microsoft's customer service, either. They gladly took my information and did my RROD swap quickly with no fuss.
Any time I've dealt with Sony it wasn't pleasant. When my PS2 got the DRE's a month after the warranty expired I was told that I had to pay to fix my practically brand new console. I waited and bought one with progressi...
I have 3 months left on my PS3's warranty. If my luck with Sony products holds it'll break a month after the warranty expires. It's worth paying to fix, but it still shouldn't break after a year.
You do realize that there are more parts in the PS3 than just the CPU and GPU, right?
There are other components that could be different based upon when and where the console was manufactured. Sony uses multiple vendors for some components and it could be that there is just some combination of those components that is causing this in certain systems. I'm guessing that they are asking for the serial numbers so that they can isolate when and where these systems were manufactured t...
Your rumble doesn't require batteries? Does your controller have a solar panel on it or something?
It would really suck to have to pay an out-of-warranty repair cost because one game wouldn't run.
Meh. It won't take long for someone to figure out how to make it think that it doesn't need to phone home any more. I'm surprised people still bother to make PC games, considering how much piracy there is.
And the world releases a resounding "who cares?" as Surfer Girl fades into the sunset. At least that's one less blog we'll have linked here.
Rockstar is doing well with this. I do wonder what the sales totals would have been if the game had only launched on one console?
Why? Retailers have the right to refuse to sell to people if their policies prevent it.
There's no way Microsoft pays retail for those drives. So comparing them to a starting price of $70 at Newegg.com is crazy from the outset. Newegg.com doesn't exactly sell at cost. Pricewatch.com has 120gb SATA drives for $48, so that's probably closer to what they really pay.

It wasn't a hit to me, and I own an Xbox 360. I had no desire for the HD-DVD add-on.
Must be true. When's the last time you saw a dog drink out of a keyboard?
I think that console browsers are awful, anyway. I've yet to see one that I actually like.
I'm at 3% - 4%, but I was farther. I'd just gotten back from having drinks with Roman and the game froze. I'm going to try it again tonight and hopefully it doesn't freeze again.
People with both consoles have to make a choice, my friend. I bought the 360 version because I have a 60gb PS3 and I was afraid of having the freezing problems. Seems as though the 360 isn't immune, either.
This article tells me that some people have more money than good sense.
