Some really cool news this week.
Mortal Kombat has been going downhill since it went 3D, at least in my opinion. The feeling of standing in the arcade and feeling every blow transmitted through the awesome sounds coming out of the arcade cabinet just hasn't been reproduced since.
Online petitions are so lame.

I think it's funny how when Microsoft highlights any sort of advantage over the PS3 the fanboys start yelling "desperation!" and the Sony Defense Force comes out in full armor. Do people really not have anything better to do than defend their choice of console? Guys, just play your games and have a good time.
Personally, I don't think that 5 minutes of install time is that big of a deal if it saves hours over the life of the game in load times. Seems like a good return ...

Last I checked nobody was forced to buy a PS3. Nobody held a gun to my head.
I guess the next couple of months will tell the tale. I'm curious to see how many consoles GTA IV is going to move.

I guess for me there really isn't a compelling reason to move to Vista. I'm not a huge PC gamer, so that's not an incentive. Vista Ultimate killed my poor laptop, even with 2gb of memory. The video hardware couldn't handle it and I ended up having massive system slowdowns.
I suppose if I had a newer laptop it would run better, but I'm not buying one yet just to find out. Vista took up 30gb of my hard drive to install whereas XP Pro doesn't leave a footprint anywhere near that si...
Surprisingly I never have bought a copy of Windows. Either I get it with a PC or my employer buys what I need. I never really thought of it before.
