I could see buying all of my movies on Blu-ray within 2 years time. By then I should be able to get a reasonably priced drive for my laptop. I still buy a lot of DVD's because I like to take movies with me when I travel.
I haven't seen an invite yet. With my luck I won't get into this, either.
It would be nice if Home launched soon. A lot of people are waiting for it. I'm more excited for LittleBigPlanet, though.
Tekken was the first 3D fighter I ever played. I care deeply about Tekken.
How long do you think it will take for them to take that down? Looks like it is 360 bound. Unless Gamestop screwed up again.
Bubbles for sharing!
Quality takes time. There's only been one Tekken that I wasn't thoroughly happy with, and that was still a great game. I say take as long as they need. It'll be worth it.
With all of this Tekken 6 exposure I'm starting to get hyped for the game. Bring it on!
Agreed, Ju. It doesn't make much sense to call for a system price cut in order to sell a new game. If Sony wants to sell consoles put Killzone 2 in the higher priced bundle and watch people walk away with them. Happened for Motorstorm, happened for MGS4. It would also happen for Killzone 2.
Bubbbles, Ju. Good post.
I bought Iron Man on Blu-ray. Totally worth it and Blu-ray is not dead. $60 for a new game will mean that companies in the used game business are going to do great. People will trade games to get new ones and others will buy used games to keep from having to pay full price for new.
The hobby won't dry up. People will just get creative with how they keep it going.
I think that the PS3 is going to do well without a price drop. If Sony can keep good bundles in the stores then they can make the extra cost worth it.
I liked the first Saints Row, but it didn't have the GTA feel to me.
At least there is some improvement, but it shows me that a lot of the load times really have little to do with the medium that the game is stored on. It would seem like seek times for hard drive installs would be considerably less than those of optical media, so it must be how the software is architected.
Do you just not understand the headline or what? This isn't an attack on the PS3 in any way. It is an exhortation that the Tekken 6 upgrade is coming to the PS3 and not the standard arcade version. So the exclamation is meant to convey excitement, in incitement.
And it is from a group of pro-Tekken enthusiasts. No need to be so paranoid.
It wasn't bad compared to other games at the time. I don't think that the Wii could have handled the gameplay, either.
They guy is not a thief. The people who bought it are morons and they don't deserve refunds, especially the guy that send the "help me, I'm stupid!" message.
Jokingly clicked "buy" as a joke? I don't blame the guy who wrote the thing, I blame the 8 morons who actually bought it, especially the ones stupid enough to cry "not my fault!". No wonder the world is in a credit crunch. Stupid people don't know how to use it.
Every device is not marked up. If you've been at this for a while then you'd know that at some point many new electronic hardware devices are sold at or below cost to penetrate the market. Both the 360 and PS3 were sold below cost when they were introduced.
Where's the news? Sony's down as well.
Total flamebait article.
I just don't see RROD reports like I used to. Microsoft must have made a significant dent in the root cause of the issue. I'm sure that it will take a while to weed through the remaining issues.
As for RROD, I bought the 2 year service contract with mine that took effect after the initial 1 year warranty was up. So I have another 7 months of that to cover me plus an additional 2 years of RROD protection on top of that. I'll probably buy another 2 year service plan just to make su...
Wow, I never thought I'd see Tekken on anything other than Playstation. Why is it taking so long?
