Hindsight is always 20/20, right?
I've waited this long. Another week isn't going to kill me.
Hey GWAVE, did you know that in a year your PS3 is going to be 3 year old technology? What are you going to do then? Obviously you won't be able to use it any more, right?
I had a 360 before I had an HDTV. I got an HDTV and you know what? It made my 360 look better. Then I bought a PS3 to go with my 360 and HDTV and you know what? The 360 and PS3 look equally good on it because they both support the same native resolution.
My newest HDTV is 1080p and I think that ups...
I can agree with that, tordavis. When I had a 32" 720p TV Blu-Ray didn't look any better than standard DVD. I can now see the difference on my 46" 1080p TV. Games with a native resolution of 720p don't look as good on the 46" as they did on the 32", but they still look really good.
Home was originally supposed to release a year ago, so I'd hope that it is ready by now.
Just curious, but why would you do that?
My 360 died immediately after the November 2007 update. I would hate for that to happen again.
I'm pretty tired of all of the talk of virtual worlds. I just want good games.
I'd like a second Assassin's Creed. I like exploring that world, and I didn't mind the mildly repetitive nature of the game. In all honesty, what game out there has no repetition? Shooters are nothing but repetition, turn-based strategy and RPG's are all repetition. Stealth-action is repetitive.
The thing that stood out to me in Assassin's Creed was the story, which I really enjoyed. If the next one has the same production values as the first I'll get that, too.
I don't think any single game is going to be responsible for selling millions of consoles. It is going to take more Japan-centric software to increase or maintain sales. A handful of RPG's isn't enough. They need those quirky titles that the Japanese market loves so much.
I'll always believe that it is software that is going to guarantee success, not price. Millions of PS3's and 360's have been sold at higher than historical prices. It has been some pretty stellar games that have...
I guess you can't reach a goal if you don't set one. Microsoft is going to have to keep bringing great titles to the Japanese market to make that happen.
Ten more days, right? Looking forward to this now.
I bought both the Blu-ray and DVD versions of Iron Man at the same time. I'd love it if these companies would bundle both versions together for a couple of bucks off.
I've never been a fan of the slim consoles. It's cool that someone is finding a use for their old Xbox, though. I should slice and dice mine.
I don't mind 600MB. I have 40GB free.
Why would someone want to do that? It's an interesting PC mod I guess.
I wonder why the guy didn't show his gamertag in the pictures where he showed his achievements?
Poop jokes are always funny.
Why is it that people always start with the bias talk? I don't see this article as biased. I agree that controller charging scheme for the PS3 is weak. I can't just plug it into my powered USB hub. I have to leave my PS3 on or my laptop on.
I'll say that the USB cable that came with my PS3 is shockingly short. It definitely isn't long enough to sit in my chair and play games while the controller charges. I had a simple solution, though. I bought a 2 meter USB cable for $5 and now...
What if the console was a gift?
