I wonder if it will void your warranty?
What does it actually dismiss? It says that a 360 port hasn't been confirmed by Kojima Productions, but there's no source actually showing that Konami is denying it.
Doesn't matter to me either way, really. I just think that it's interesting to see how people are still holding on to the exclusivity of this title.
In my work we regularly compress XML data. XML files are typically 95% whitespace, so it is actually normal to reduce 1 GB down to 20-30 MB. But that's text. Data like images can't normally be compressed that much, but many types of data (like text) can.
Wow, how long did it take to type that? Anyway, have a bubble for your well organized thoughts.
Haha...the rumor that just won't die. This thing really took off over the last two hours.
I agree with you PirateThom. I think the real system sellers are the new games that are releasing now. NXE and Home are "nice to haves" in my opinion.
Personally I see myself tiring of Home pretty quickly. But I'm not a huge social gamer, either.
That's a lot to spend just to mingle in a virtual world. Good thing there are so many awesome games coming out this holiday. I think that's going to be the real driver of sales.
A ship simulator? Wow. I'd think that would rank right up there with a "watching paint dry" simulator.
I'm going to wait on this one. Too many other good games coming out right now. I'll probably pick it up sometime in January.
One more week.
Cherry? I completely wore my PS1 out. Toward the end of it's life I was turning it upside down just so it could read games. I definitely got my money's worth out of it.
I completely agree. The PlayStation will always be one of my favorite consoles. It was the first with true high-speed 3D graphics and gameplay and it was the first, in my opinion, to really bring the arcade experience home.
Jumping Flash. That was some fun stuff.
Same here.
I'm sure you're right.
Real women won't show you their boobs. That's why game programmers spend so much time making their own.
DOA 4 moves so fast you don't really have time to see much bouncing. Except for in the victory poses I guess.
This is exactly why I bought all three consoles. I like being able to play what I want to. The hardcore console fanboys wouldn't have anything to argue over if they owned them all. I've had great experiences on all three platforms.
I'm sure the haters on all sides will disagree. That's fine. But if you really want to play the best games the only way to do it is to own multiple platforms. No single console is the best. They all have their strengths and they all have AAA titles.
Xbox fans threatened by LBP? Are you afraid that what the fanboys did to Halo 3 on Metacritic could happen to LBP? Because the reviews have it at 94%, but user reviews have it at 7.4. Want to wager how many of those people never played Halo 3?
People are sure hung up on Metacritic scores, aren't they? Why are these scores so important? Isn't it the game that matters?
Sounds to me like Apple is pushing digital downloads as the distribution method of the future. I think that's why Jobs took a shot at Blu-Ray. Their bread is buttered by iTunes and digital distribution, so of course that's what they're going to be pushing.
