^^ Do you only troll in the evenings and on weekends? Because you were definitely trolling 360 fanboys above with your "crying" comment. Just sayin'.
Ah, the tender sensitivities of the "hardcore" gamers. As soon as someone can provide a comprehensive definition of "hardcore" we can see if Reggie is correct. Because I know a lot of people who have been playing games longer than many of the people who use this website have been alive, and many of them are thoroughly enjoying what the Wii has to offer. That's because many of the "hardcore" haven't been gaming long enough to know that your headshot count is not w...
Personally I don't care what the Japanese say about anything. There's not much coming out of Japan that I find interesting, and that includes RPG's. I'll take a Mass Effect or a KOTOR over a Final Fantasy any day. But that's just my opinion.
I'm not a big fan of XBLA games, but I might need to invest in this blast from the past.
I had a 360 firmware update brick my 360. Microsoft fixed it for free because it was under warranty. I hope one never bricks my PS3, because it isn't under warranty.
Yes.
I'm not going to game in 3D. I've had eye realignment surgery for strabismus. While my eyes appear straight I don't have the depth perception required to watch movies in 3D for more than 20 minutes or so without getting a headache. Some 3D effects I can't even see.
So right off the bat this is a technology that's pretty much useless to me. I hope others enjoy it, but I won't be investing in it.
Awesome flamebait article if you ask me. It's funny how these articles always turn into "my system is better than yours" trollfests.
Wasn't aware that Microsoft wrote this editorial.
So I can buy two of those games and then get Mass Effect 2 for free later. That's a nice deal!
It's easy to disagree because Microsoft has profit centers other than Windows OS and gaming. The biggest one you missed is their Office line of productivity products. Next comes their pricey but very well designed software development tools. And then there's their SQL Server database platform. And they say their games and entertainment division is also profitable, whether anyone chooses to believe it or not.
Making a blanket statement that is obviously wrong will get you disagree...
I read the editorial and I think its much ado about nothing. At this point there's no reason to believe that 3D is going to enjoy a long life in the living room. To me it's nothing like the switch to HD a couple of years ago because 3D is a change in experience, but not necessarily an upgrade in quality. Sony's betting the farm on 3D, but that doesn't mean everyone should. Sony doesn't always win when they make a bet.
And the comment about Nintendo being behind was just hilarious...
When I paid for Xbox Live I never paid $50. I had it for more than two years and the first year I paid $31 for 13 months (12+1) and the second year I paid $24 for 13 months. They don't really sell the 12+1 cards any more that I've seen. Then they were shipping a month of Live with practically every first party game in 2008, so I had live for free for 8 months after my subscription ran out.
I don't pay for it any more because I don't have hours and hours to spend playing online ga...
Because the more powerful the console the more fun the games, right?
I'll own a million of them.
Look at all the people making much ado about nothing. It was a typo. We're all just people and we all make mistakes. It's been clarified and now we can all go back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I remember when games ran in 320x200, had 8 colors (or less) onscreen, no online and were still a hell of a lot of fun to play.
I didn't know this was coming! This game rocked my SNES! I've got to try this!
He's on fire!
Wii gave 360 and PS3 combined a spanking. Show of hands, how many still think Wii is a fad? Couple those numbers with 10 million copies of Super Mario Bros. and it shows that Wii is what more people want.
Statistically PS3 and 360 are even in North America for December. That surprised me.
Typical "well 360 can't either" comments. There were a lot of people talking smack about this game and now that their comeuppance has arrived they want to deflect by criticizing the 360. This isn't about what the PS3 is or isn't capable of. This is about people making crap up about this game and how it was going to be so technically superior when they didn't know what they were talking about.
Focus on the idiots who expected and bragged about something they were never ...
