It shows that he really cares about the games he makes. They are almost like his children, and he is incredibly happy that Fable 2 is doing well.
You answered a question with a fact and someone gave you a diagree... that's just not right.
Here's an agree to even things out.
If it was that bad, why did you play through it twice?
After you finished it the first time, were you like "Oh man, that sucked. I should play it again to make sure it sucked as much as I think it sucked."
I mean, I only played through it once so far. Personally, the game was definitely worth the money. I guess its a matter of opinion, though.
That game is amazing. I'm really looking forward to LBP as well, though, and you can't really compare the two games, as they are in completely different genres. I thought 2007 was the best year of games, but 2008 is even better. I hope this trend continues.
Awesome
I may be wrong, but I think the original Gears was banned in Germany as well. I'm sure people will be able to import it if they want to play the game, though.
As for Japan, I can't imagine why they wouldn't release the game there, as MS would be greatly hurt by the lack of a major exclusive in a largely pro-sony country. Plus I always thought that Japan had much less restrictions on entertainment than the U.S.
If there was a very popular trailer showing a white protagonist killing Africans, there would be a huge uproar. I think most people who would have made a big deal about it just never heard of or seen the game.
Maybe miracles do happen.
at least for a game that won't come out for a while. I'm sure it look even better upon release. The story seems really interesting too, though not really a ripoff of Silent Hill by "typical American developers".
I don't really like horror games, but this one seems very interesting.
I love the Halo games, but I hate how, since it is one of the most popular games out there, the online mode seems populated by jerks and cheaters. Sometimes I start out by muting everyone but my friends. Personally, I really liked the campaign, though the story could have been better, imho. It is a lot of fun with a friend or three.
It's funny that there's an ad for halo3 cheats at the bottom of the page. Irony FTW?
I can't access my 360 now, so can someone try it out and give your impressions. It sounds cool, but I'm still not sure if it will be as great as I hope it will be. I can't wait to try it out for myself! If only my mic wasn't broken. This calls for some heavy duty duct tape.
I think there are achievements for completing waves 30, 40, and 50, so I guess it's possible. This mode sounds awesome.
I hope I win! I don't have my PS3 with me here at college, but if I win, I'll definitely consider bringing it. This game looks sick, plus its a good contrast from Gears 2, Fallout 3, and Left 4 Dead, my three other most anticipated games.
Since when was the name Maddie taboo as the name of a fictional character? People are just overreacting over this one missing girl among thousands. I really feel for her, but it's stupid that Bungie is assaulted for having her name in their ad.
And even if it was a reference to her, it is definitely not harmful to the case. There is no such thing as bad press. Now more people know about it/ remember it again. Everyone needs to lighten up...
At the bottom of the section titled "External Assistance" it says:
"The Superintendent will use all his ability to find her. Keep it clean. Please remain calm."
My guess is it's some random guy who just edited the page, as it's a pretty easy thing to do. It's still kinda weird tho.
I do agree that Cliff went overboard saying that he "hates" the controller, but you guys are ignoring the rest of the comment. He admits that he likes many aspects and games of the PS3, but he prefers the 360.
The controller comment was bad, but I think he redeemed himself afterwards. This news post is getting way too many hits for being pure flamebait. Personally, I don't see much of a difference between the controllers when I'm in the middle of a game. Only small ...
I love them and can't wait for the "Cole Protocol". I can't really see how the books will fit into this game/expansion, though.
So they give you disagrees. But yea, Bungie has the best of ARG's. There were a few nights before Halo 3 came out that I got very little sleep because of the intense forum discussions. Nerds ftw?
I think I remember seeing you on the bungie forums. Hopefully the story gets approved. The Superintendent must be heard!
New Bungie title announced soon!!!! SI FTW!!! yay
What bothers me is that a large number of comments criticize the amount of time it takes to finish the campaign. If the campaign is good enough, though, it doesn't need to be super long. MGS4, for example is only about 6 hours long, but it is good enough that you will want to replay it multiple times.
But yeah, Gears 2 is going to be amazing. I will be at the midnight release for sure.
