Apparently 8 people don't think it's just a game. O.o
I have a PS3, but I never saw the appeal in paying more for better quality video. Is blu-ray quality worth extra money?
Releasing more games means more fun for us gamers, not necessarily exclusives. A game is not more fun because it is exclusive. Unless you're a fanboy that is...
But yeah, these games look great. Unreal Engine is one of the best and definitely most used engines out there, so if you dis the engine, you are dissing alot of great games.
Graphics are great and all, but what makes a game great is the gameplay. While Left 4 Dead may not be the best looking game out there, it's hard to deny that the gameplay will be solid and fun. Valve has yet to fail me in that aspect. Still, the source engine is no slacker. Half-Life 2 still looks good 4 years later.
Half-Life series (also made by Valve) has an amazing story, but no cutscenes. So cutscenes do not equal great game.
The game will be awesome.
Because of course we all know for a fact that the games they gave low scores are really good, having played them and all...
Come on, guys. The article is basically reviewing the demos they played, not the full game. You need to lighten up. And you have no basis for challenging them, as they have played the demos and you have not.
But from what I hear, this is a bad representation of the game. The gameplay video he bases his article off of has amazing graphics, but the only gameplay shown is a series of quick time events. I don't have problem with that every now and then, like in Resident Evil or God of War, but this video makes it seem like the majority of action will take place this way.
The video makes Heavy Rain look like an interactive movie, but I have a feeling it is a bad representation of the g...
To some people, a flop is a game that gets bad reviews from the critics, who, surprisingly, are very critical of games. To others, a flop is a game that sells terribly, no matter how good or bad it is. Fanboys, of course, call a game a flop if it is an exclusive of the other console and gets mediocre scores.
Too Human's average, atleast on N4G is about 7. It is not great, but it doesn't suck either. The game is not worth the buy except for fans of the genre or those with mo...
Oh, wait. That's impossible unless they're biased or payed by Microsoft. Geez... I often don't agree with many of their scores, but they are definitely not biased.
I don't remember those accounts, but knowing those users' track records, I'm not surprised. I guess both sides have trolls. I never really payed attention to the PS stories until recently, since prior to a few weeks ago, I didn't own a PS3. All the consoles are great, it's just frustrating when trolls come along and make lame comments.
I don't remember ever seeing any Wii trolls on this site, though. I'm sure they are around somewhere...
He's a troll.
You call getting some random pic off the internet, adding music and lettering, then creating a new account on N4G with which to spam said picture, all in the name of celebrating the "flop" of another system's game creative? No, that's retarded. You are not a gamer. Gamers want games to succeed so the industry thrives and improves. You wish for failure. You are an anti-gamer.
What's with all the Sony fanboys? I swear, it's like you guys sit at your computers all day, pouncing at any anti-MS article you see. Too Human got bad reviews, alright? I get it. Now please gtfo, at least to the Open Zone ------>
Someone made a new account just to make fun of Too Human. Super mature dude. What makes it even worse is that the next person to comment(possibly same person, different account) says he's giving the dude bubbles. And the gamer zone no less. Open zone is that way ----->
I don't remember ppl making troll accounts when Lair or Haze flopped. Some people enjoyed those games, just as some people will enjoy Too Human. To those people the games didn't "flop".
...
I expected mixed or low reviews based off of the critics' reactions to the Too Human demo, which I loved. 7.9 is a good score, though. Ninja Gaiden 2 had similar ratings and it was great. I'll probably at least rent the game.
It is possible to love or respect all consoles and games on the market. In fact, it is very easy. In sports, however, it is hard to support multiple teams, as at some point two of the teams you love will go against each other. Sports fanboys are dedicated to their team, while gaming fanboys tend to be a bit close-minded.
Of course, sometimes sports fanboys can be just as bad.
or Vista.
MS learned from their mistakes and fixed the blue screen error with Vista. It's not their fault that the Chinese used XP instead.
And why mention Bill Gates? He has no hand in the blue screen errors. If anyone it was the programmers, or maybe the computer was already filled with viruses. The blue screen does not appear for no reason. You, the user, have to do something wrong for it to appear.
Maybe the awesomeness of the ceremony was too much for it.
Looks like someone doesn't think your eyes are bad, Halochampian.
but I seriously doubt it will make GeOW fans buy the game. Why would they buy a 60 dollar game just because of a custom armor? I will probably get the game because it looks enjoyable. Why else does one buy games?
Personally, I had much more fun with Gears than I had with Resistance, but then again I just recently bought Resistance. This time, though, I will buy both games around the same time and enjoy them both. Who cares which one will look better? They are both looking...
