While the article is mostly about console gaming in general, the title of the article is based off of one quote by the guy being interviewed. He also says CoD4 is CounterStrike, but I guess they figured the Halo one would get them more hits. I hope the guy doesn't get flamed for that one quote, though, as he seems like he knows what he's talking about.
Though I disagree with the statements about Halo and Call of Duty 4, I agree that PC games are "more deep" because th...
My roommates were laughing at how the characters yelled "I'm reloading!" every time they reloaded. They thought it was stupid and unnecessary, as no other coop games have or need that feature.
Personally, I feel that it is an important part of the teamwork in the game to know what everyone is doing at all times.
Not the best, but who cares? The game's gameplay makes the graphics irrelevant.
So far I've only played the demo by myself, on the default setting. Though it was great, there weren't as many zombies as I'd seen in videos and the action was never super hectic. I have a feeling it will be a whole different experience on the higher difficulties and with my friends online. This game is definitely a buy for me.
but that in no way cheapens the experience or whatever he's trying to say. My friend and I played 8 hours straight on coop hardcore, then rested for four hours and played for another 3. We finished that night by around 12. All in all, it took about 15 hours to beat it, and it was amazing. This guy must have played through on an easier difficulty or something, because I can't imagine playing through the game in under 10 hours, especially on my first playthrough.
I plan on play...
First, your grammar is unforgivably terrible. Is it really that hard to proofread your post?
And prior to playing the game I heard more people say that the story was more of the same as opposed to saying it's better. After playing it, I definitely think that the story is much better than the original. It's kind of obvious. The first one was just a string of objectives hung together by somewhat repetitive shooting and ducking. Gears 2 mixes up the gameplay immensely and has a...
but I also think that Gears will sell more. I feel like Resistance, like many other good PS3 games, aren't getting the publicity they deserve, resulting in lower sales.
This site is a prime example. Until reviews started coming in, there was more excitement about Killzone 2, the sequel to an average-rated PS2 game, than about the sequel to a universally appreciated shooter.
I'm sure both games will sell well, but Gears 2 will most likely sell the most. I'll be...
yet they say it is superior to the original. Either the current review system is severely flawed, or expectations have risen greatly over the past two years.
I've never heard of that site in my life. It seems like whenever a huge new release comes out, all these small, previously unheard of sites pop up to deliver pointless scores.
4 out of 5 is still great, though. I personally didn't mind the narrative of the first game, so I am sure I will enjoy this one.
Prostitution is the only option.
I will have both games by the end of the year...
PSN/XBL: RebornSpy
Sure it's not a 10 out of 10, but who cares. To me, anything above an 8 is a great score, and a 9.5 is amazing. I can't wait to get this game Thursday night.
People will get this game, or at least should get this game based on personal preferences such as controller or online friends. Personally, I will probably get the game for the 360 because most of my friends have 360 with Live. Though there is no mp, there is still in-game chat.
Both versions will be amazing, though. I love how original and refreshing the game is.
Then as long as you have a netflix account that allows 360 downloads(probably more info on netflix site) you can just download movies onto your 360 at no additional cost to the one you are already paying for the service. I am not sure how many you can have downloaded at once, though.
I really need to get a netflix account myself...
Something about this game always seemed off to me. As much as I love the premise of the game, I was always wary of something about it. If a good studio made it, this game could really be awesome, but all the videos I've seen so far just seem generic, despite the legendary creatures everywhere. That is truly sad.
I wanted to hope that this game would be great. I just never could. Oh well, that's one less game for me to buy this holiday season.
Unless I missed something, Fallout got amazing reviews. I am almost positive that CoD will do well, as the multiplayer is basically the same as CoD4's award winning multiplayer and supposedly a good campaign. I feel like it will be hard to top CoD4's campaign, though.
I wish I had known that the Bethesda team was at the midnight launch. I would have totally been there. For some reason I keep forgetting that Bethesda games is actually located in the Bethesda I often visit. It's really weird for some reason.
I really loved the original Gears, so I am definitely getting the game at the midnight release. Resistance was an alright game, though I wasn't really blown away by it, so until recently I wasn't sure that I really wanted it. After playing the beta, however, I am sure that I will buy the game over the holidays, when I have more time to play.
Month-long college winter break FTW!!!!
I only played one multiplayer match last night, but I already really like what I see. It seems like everything has been improved, both graphics-wise and gameplay-wise. For example, I really didn't like the bullseye gun in Resistance 1, but in 2, it is a really good weapon. It seems like many of the old weapons got similar improvements, and there are a few new ones that are awesome as well. I can't wait to try coop!
Honestly, I didn't really think that I would get a key. I j...
Was it a bad game, too? Of course not.
The blades have been moved to the guide, meaning you can access them both from the dashboard and ingame.
