as long as it accomplishes what it is meant to do: provide an area for avatars to "socialize" and just hang out.
Home isn't/shouldn't be too complicated, so if Sony screws it up somehow, then...
While conventional games very rarely teach kids anything valuable, I think it would be a good idea to make more games which take advantage of kids' love of video games to teach them things.
Basically, I don't think that children should learn from standard games that are out today, but there is much potential for educational video games.
I guess I can see that.
Barely though.
and which version of Palin might that be?
because it's all based on preference. I'm sure for someone out there, Haze of Too Human is the best game of the year simply because they enjoyed that game the most. It's not our place to tell them whether or not the game sucks. If they enjoy playing it, that's all that is important.
My game of the year is probably Gears 2 or GTA IV. There's still a bunch of games(Resistance 2, LBP, Fallout 3, etc.) that I will probably play over the break, though. This year has so many gre...
I don't know who you are, but this is gaming, not English class. Personally, I try to have as good grammar and spelling as possible, but most people on this site couldn't care less. And if you really gave a damn about it, you would capitalize once and a while. You're kind of being a hypocrite. I don't think a Live ID contributes at all to the mediocrity of today's population. It's the internet. Get over it.
It probably has something to do with graphics...
While I don't really agree with their choice, I agree with their reasoning. Experience is always the most important to me.
I hate it when owners of other consoles get to experience a great game. Only we elite PS3 owners should have the right to play this game. Screw the 360!!!
I'll definitely give it a download when I go home for break next week.
It better be awesome considering how long it's taken for them to finish it. The only videos I've seen are just large rooms with ads everywhere. I'm sure it'll still be cool, though.
Now give me my money.
Xbox Live allows you to choose one name, a name that has not been chosen by anyone else. It is obvious that Halochampion was chosen, so the obvious alternative is to spell it slightly different while retaining the same sound. He has used this name for a very long time, so now it is special to him. It's something most 3rd graders have trouble understanding, so I understand your confusion.
I'm getting both.
just not a year after the previous one. The Playstation 2 is amazing in that good games are still being made for it so many years after its creation. I'm sure the PS3 will be the same, so the 360 should atleast attempt to last longer than 5 or 6 years. In my opinion, the Gears trilogy should be a 360 series.
Unless Microsoft rushes the hell out of Epic, Gears 3 will hopefully come out in Fall '10.
I really, really hope the game is rushed, because the series is great and I would hate for the finale to be sub-par.
because MGS4's story is so much better...
It's really the only podcast I currently listen to, but I might try out some of the other ones.
Whenever I play GTA IV, it's easy to see how much work went into making the massive city as realistic as it is. The game may not have the best shooting or driving, but I think the story is top-knotch. I have always liked the art style of the game as well.
As far as quality goes, I think GTA IV is definitely GOTY. Personally, I can't decide until I actually get LBP and Fallout 3 over winter break.
I understand everyone's personal preferences and anger towards this argument, but does anyone actually think that Time magazine, one of the most respectable magazines in the country, would just bullshit anything? I'm sorry if you don't agree with their choices, but I can guarantee that they didn't pull the list out of their asses.
I also disagree with a few of the choices (not sure if an iPhone game should be there), but I do agree that games like GTA IV, Gears2, and LittleBig...
The king is back in its rightful place.
I've been playing a lot of Gears of War 2 now, though, and I probably won't go back to Halo for a while. I always go back to Halo, though, which is more than I can say for many games. They are always changing things up, changing the online experience.
I love Valve and bought the Orange Box as soon as it came out, but I just could never get into Team Fortress. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, etc., but the multiplayer shooter just wasn't fun to me. Maybe I'll give it another try over winter break or whenever this update comes out.
