but I have yet to see one done effectively outside of an amusement park.
It'd be great if Sony actually pulled this off, but somehow I doubt it will be that great. Just a dumb gimmick that will get old or annoying before long.
I really hope they prove me wrong.
It was a joke...and a funny one at that. But seriously, imagine gaming through time.
And if you wanna turn this into a flame war, I could say that the PS3 should have the record for least expectations met or least sales of this generation. See, it's easy to play this game!
God, I hate fanboys. This is an article about a cool thing Sony made breaking a world record. Don't bring consoles into this.
I totally agree, man. I have an amazing hard-on for Sony right now!
I don't think so. And I wasn't really talking about the news. Most of the members happen to be PS3 fanboys. And if 70% of gaming news is against the PS3, then what does that tell you about the PS3? Nothing good.
Then I guess it's a matter of opinion which is better. I have enjoyed the XBLA games that I've played, so I guess I like it the most. Braid alone puts it on top.
N4G is composed largely of PS3 fanboys...
And why would everyone be against the PS3? What reason do they have? And don't give me the "M$ paid them" excuse, because I'm not buying them. It's obviously Sony's fault if there's some conspiracy against them.
I WANT MAH DISHWASHER!!
Seriously, that game was awesome. When do all the XNA games come out?
Edit: On topic, I think it's based on your preferences. So far I've only downloaded games for the Xbox, but I'm pretty sure the XBLM has better arcade games than the PSN.
I think everyone forgets about the Wii, though, which has a multitude of classic Nintendo games.
As much as I hate to admit it, I personally think that the Wii has the best down...
Sony didn't market LBP enough, and Valkyria Chronicles wasn't marketed at all. This makes me angry, especially in the latter's case. LBP still had commercials, so it may just be the fault of PS3 owners that it hasn't sold well. VC has had little or no adverising. I would have been completely oblivious to the game if not for Penny Arcade, who highly recommended the game to any PS3 owner.
Now that the system is finally getting a steady flow of amazing games, it's a shame that...
WTF??? Why do you spell it with an "A"??? You're a garbage fanboy!
But I agree with you. I love secret messages in trailers.
I look forward to both Killzone 2 and Halo 3: Recon. Infinity Ward's new COD will be awesome as well.
I never really played the first Killzone, but from what I've heard it was nothing special. Now that I have a Playstation, I'm excited to try out the next installment in the series. At the very least it will have awesome graphics. And what shooter isn't relatively linear?
yea, it's not really funny at all...
so it probably happened not too far away...
This kind of thing happens more than it should, and it's giving games a really bad name. Though it may seen like something that only happens on the news, sibling violence is a real problem, not just over video games.
I just hope that everyone is alright.
I'm still gonna try it out, but hopefully it's not as bad as many people make it out to be. It'll still be fun to try out.
Exactly.
Now all I need to do is get more friends on PSN...
And they all ripped off of actual karaoke machines. :)
Nice...
I feel like LBP is an amazing game, but compared to many other holiday games it didn't sell as many copies as it should have. If Sony had marketed/hyped the game better, I think it would have done much better sales wise. Whatever. 1 million is still very, very good, and sales aren't necessarily an indication of quality anyway.
Probably...
