Though it was repetitive at times, Assassin's Creed was ultimately an awesome game. Each assassination was diverse, and the story was captivating to the end. My only problem with the game is the repetition of many pre-assassination missions, but those were still enjoyable most of the time because of pursuing guards. Chases were always fun.
I'm interested to see what direction they will take with the new game, due to the intriguing ending of the first AC.
You guys need to lighten up. I have a PS3, too.
But personally I would never get the game. I really didn't like the demo at all. It just kept me occupied while I downloaded the Left 4 Dead demo.
PS3 gamers have nothing better to play! Hahahaha!
Jk... truthfully I don't know. It could just be a coincidence.
Maybe it has. O.o
but 9.9? If you love it that much just give it a 10. Reviews by now are pointless to me. I just look at averages, and even then I can't decide until I play a game for myself. If only reviews were perfect...
You comment on all the sequels to 360 games, then mention how excited you are about two sequels on the PS3. Talk about faulty systems...
On a side note, I do believe that the Dark Knight will be awesome on Blu-Ray. God of War 3 will be sweet and I might give Killzone 2 a try. After Halo 5 and Gears 2.5 of course. :)
but if he cheated to get that high gamerscore, then that's what he gets.
When I saw the title, I thought it was a big deal because gamerpoints are the "currency" used in the Xbox live marketplace. Is it sad that I can imagine Microsoft stealing money from a guy more than ultimately useless achievements?
Of course, I'd be pissed if they took away my recently acquired 10,000 gamerscore...
But I do agree that it is really not the best name to use. Only some Halo fans know what it means. To everyone else, it's just a confusing acronym. Helljumpers would be perfect in my opinion.
The game is basically fan service, so maybe they wanted a title that reflected that more accurately.
I passed...
It really gives a new perspective on him, giving him a bit more of a personality. In the game he is definitely bland, but that is his character, not laziness or lack of creativity. His past experiences have made him who he is, just like Master Chief's past has made him into a largely obedient, silent soldier and Solid Snake's past has made him into an old cynical badass.
There were a few times in the latest game in which he shows strong emotions, seeming more like a human. H...
I feel like more and more companies are going to start making games for both consoles. I wouldn't be surprised if Bungie made a game for both the 360 and PS3. It is a financially smart decision. People are definitely going to be angry and betrayed that their favorite game developer is going multi-platform, but eventually we will all get used to it. It's not like they are no longer making games for your console. It seems like a fanboy problem more than anything.
It seems to be getting harder and harder to get kills with a chainsaw. A good player can counter a chainsaw rusher with almost any weapon.
In my opinion this game has all the good stuff from the first one, plus much more. I don't get how someone who loved the first one could dislike this one.
Whatever. I guess I'll just go back to playing MP and quit worrying about the preferences of others.
but I think I'll skip the game.
but a good team of five players pretty much dominates. Teamwork is almost always essential to winning a Gears match. Except during King of the Hill. Then everyone just chainsaws each other in the hill.
I also thought it was funny that there was an ad for Gears 2 on the Playstation site. Irony FTW!
I own MGS4, but personally I enjoyed GTA4 and GeOW2 more and played them longer. MGS4 is still an amazing game, though, but there are so many great games out this year.
I am definitely getting Resistance and LBP this winter, as well as Fallout 3. The problem is that all of these games are so different, and it's hard for me to compare them except by time played.
I feel like the main contenders for GOTY will be MGS4, Gears 2, LBP, GTA4, and Fallout 3. I may have m...
In the games, MC seems like a brainless robot who just goes around shooting aliens. The novels, however, reveal that he, as well as other spartans, were trained in not only combat, but knowledge as well. MC is very smart despite his appearance in the games. He also knows martial arts...
Logically, you can't even begin to argue that Snake would beat MC in combat. I love Snake as a character, and in the games he is much more deep than the often shallow MC, but compared to a Spa...
but besides that, I'm loving the update so far. I really like the new dashboard, especially the friends list and ability to form an 8 person party. The avatars look good too. And they look more like Yahoo avatars than Miis, but they don't necessarily look blatantly copied from any one specific thing. But who cares? The update is amazing.
The first one was just some lame kid. I couldn't get past the first minute. The second video is hilarious, though. That guy has some serious anger issues.
This article is definitely titled to get hits, as the videos don't really have anything to do with people hating Gears of War2. I personally love the game.
