Unfortunately, that's really not fact. Ask around areas with "gamers" how they feel about Timesplitters and unfortunately you're just going to attract some blank stares.
Timesplitters doesn't instantly hit a whole bunch of nostalgia nerves for most of the more "mainstream" gaming community.
What he said.
The registration process (Especially at launch) was a slow painful process. If I recall they were very specific about passwords and usernames.
It was a ridiculous system of doing things when you had been used to the smooth online experiences available in lots of other games.
Sure, if they said parts of the game are being pulled out and given an extra coat of polish for a pre release DLC release. Then yeah, you're comment is right on point.
You're just making a bad assumption.
You still see the licensing agreement to ID when the game loads.
Reading, I know it's a weird and rare skill.
“However we do have plans for some download content after the release from the game that will allow you to play maybe as a different character or some new missions.”
The games slated for Early 2013, it's not un reasonable for planning to begin on DLC.
“However we do have plans for some download content after the release from the game that will allow you to play maybe as a different character or some new missions.”
PLANS, you guys are getting up in arms about PLANS.
The same could be said about a lot of things on display at MS and Sony. I don't think we should act indifferent towards NSMB2 because of how similar it looks to the first. Act indifferent because of the things that Ubisoft has been able to do with Rayman between Origins and Legends.
Pikmin DOES look pretty cool though.
Er, the 1943 maps were shrunk. They weren't the original size they were in 1942.
It wasn't going to be the "most" popular game on PSN, with or without the Konami ID. It just helped the community take a nosedive not to long after release.
I went through the headache of patching that game and remembering what my Konami ID info was about a year ago and the community was pretty much gone.
When everything is broadcast live on Spike TV it changes everything. E3 is a event for the promotion of publishers and Developers wares, things like Wonderbook and other "Kid" oriented crap has the potential to sell like gang busters. It would be stupid of them to not highlight those kinds of things at the biggest video game media event in North America.
Correspondence? You're exchanging letters with E3?
As they are...yes you're right. Ported to x86, you're going to find corridor shooters like Killzone 3 and the Uncharted series aren't as taxing as you think they are.
I've read some of your comments, you come off as a insecure teenager. I would write you off as another pre pubescent troll, but all your comments seem to point to the idea that you actually believe your brand of nonsense.
This isn't DMC1-4 though, this isn't necessarily related. Beyond the name and characters this COULD be a totally different game. Something that has happened to lots of different franchises in video games, TV and Movies.
This isn't a special case, this isn't a surprising thing totally out of left field. This happens CONSTANTLY. Just like Ghost Recon 2/Advanced Warfighter, Quake 4, RB: Vegas they were all technically within the same "Genre" as the ori...
Umm, or you could view them as separate characters. DMC1-4 Dante hasn't changed, my disks haven't converted into 4 copies of the DMC reboot.
Yes...that happens a lot. Games are transformed constantly between releases. Things aren't always going to work in a linear way for you, sometimes things are going to change and sometimes you wont like those changes.
I loved Quake, by DMC "Fans" standards I should have been firebombing Ravens headquarters because of what Quake 4 was. I should have blown up Ubisoft for what happened to Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon, Epic for UT etc etc.
I'm not...
Like a bird...
38 was developing a MMO based on the WoW model and absolutely nothing else. Development costs aren't REALLY what did it in.
Its an article from geforce.com of course they are going to plug the latest and greatest silicon coming out of Nvidia.
I'm sure Planetside 2 will run acceptably on mid range to high end 400 and 500 series cards with minor adjustments. The game wont play any worse if they don't have the real time cloud shadows box ticked.
Unreal Tournament 3 couldn't run total conversions, it was only new maps, skins and gametypes. Barely a mod.
