Gaming news is a joke, the author chose to buy his dad a PS3 over a 360...GREAT! Why do we all need to know this? How is this relevant?
Company of Heroes and Dawn of War are pretty close to that. It's just to bad and kinda sad that Saints Row is the only thing in their roster thats gotten close to those two quality wise.
If this plays like the GR of old I'll be all over this.
Its 4 on 4 MP, if this was a genre that had lots of traffic I would say the question/challenge makes sense to begin with.
Comparing GoW Ascension to any other MP game that isn't a similar genre just doesn't make sense. BF3 on the consoles has far more going on then GoW Ascension, but I'm sure the animations and textures will be much better in GoW. So what one is the better game visually?
Funny, I say something that could be construed as negative towards Sony, so I must be some kind of Xbox troll.
The most interesting games Sony had like Unfinished Swan and Dyad, weren't at the press conference. What they did show game wise at the conference with the exception of The Last of Us was pretty samey. Beyond might be okay, but I wasn't the biggest fan of Heavy Rain.
To say Sony cares about games is like saying Ferrari cares about wheels. Of ...
Oh man, I guess I must have hallucinated that Wonderbook presentation at Sony's event.
Sony and MS are all about profits, don't delude yourself into thinking otherwise. It's unhealthy.
MS owns the name and zombiefied shell of what was one of the most imaginative developers out there.
RARE ISN'T THE SAME PLACE, COULD WE ALL STOP SAYING "Ohhh but where is Rare?" They aren't going to do any more then what they are currently doing.
lol what?
If this were true, then Confrontation would have actually been accepted. It had the classic lobbies, the gameplay was closer to S2 then S3 and they added lots of little things to bring it ever closer to what S2 was.
A HD remake of the PS2 socoms is a waste of time.
Definitely both.
@Mike
I get what you're saying, especially with the all the image based marketing. Lots of flags and junk.
BUT! In the trailer, I do feel like he wasn't killing Red Coats to turn the battle. I think he was just going after his target, who was clearly a British Templar. The battle turning was just a weird side effect.
If you've killed one white guy, you've killed all of them.
This game would have been so much better if it was some dude with a chainsaw killing zombies. /s
Bingo was his name-o.
beautiful post, bubbles.
I got girl wood from this and when I saw Rayman I was like "WTF IS THIS SHIT!? I DON"T GET THIS!" too.
She was awkward and said some pretty forced sounding BAD lines. I think she just had the terrible job of following Mr Caffeine so she was bound to get nit picked.
She wasn't awful, but it was only her and Don Mattrick that made me place my face in my palm.
Trebius! Internet Warrior!
You sound like a boring white knight.
“And just before you think that means you should be asking 18-year-old women, it actually turns out the majority of technology users are women in their 40s, 50s and 60s. So if you wanted to know what the future looks like, those turn out to be the heaviest users of the most successful and most popular technologies on the planet as we speak.”
Women in their 40s, 50s and 60s are the ones interested in E3? They aren't interested in the Xbox, PLaystation or any brands that I ...
How do you propose Naughty Dog go about the task of sprucing up the character model in The Last of Us?
When you're going for a grounded game, based somewhere in something resembling reality. I don't see a problem with having a character that doesn't look radically outside the norm.
When I play Battlefield 3, I know my dudes probably got a crew cut and I'm just a steaming. Be more creative, give him a faux hawk instead. /s
Your friends aren't indicative of what the majority of gamers are today. My friends played and enjoyed Timesplitters, but it's pretty easy to identify that further outside of my group of old friends the number that have knowledge or an attachment to the series drops considerably.
On a side note, how does a whole group of people who apparently know games well enough to harbor nostalgia for TS, not know about Crysis? Smells weird in here.
A prime example of when people are too thick to realize that their preferences, have a massive effect on their opinions. CoD is a different game for a different audience, you unfortunately are not the type of person that MGO catered to.
Btw, nobody cares that you aren't looking forward to playing Metal gear Revengeance. Plenty of games that I'm not interested in, but that's not a instant marker that they are "bad" games.

Bit of a leap...
The CoDs on the Wii actually had quite a few people playing. Using the Wiimote always made me want to throw the whole thing out the window, but it was a perfectly functional CoD with online play, on the Wii.
