Don't forget the pretty workmanlike Unit 13 for the Vita. That was a real...winner.
That vita menu is fine to look at but I just hate using it.
Or your friends and family largely use the service? I use my PS3 to play shit online too, but I do that with a considerably gimped pool of friends.
I get it, paying for Xbox live is ridiculous. I've been PC gaming online since the mid-ish 90's now for free(sans MMO) and the PS2 offered online for free. But if my parents, sister and friends are all actively using their Xbox more than what`s my alternative?
EA runs the dedicated servers for their own games, they do that so they can rationalize making you register for their service. It's also how EA games can be taken down.
MS doesn't actually run servers more or less, it's purely Peer2Peer. This is why you can still access online features in Perfect Dark Zero or CoD2.
Or it was a typo? I'm sure he doesn't think the game is named Metal Solid Gear.
Easy on that Sony Cult Punch.
The Walking Dead doesn't have the massive plot issues, I would also say they don't play all that similarly.
Framerates in video games can't be equated to film/camera filming techniques. A game running at 60FPS doesn't differ visually from a game running at 30FPS. In motion one just looks smoother than the other, there is no stylistic or artistic difference between the two.
One day people will realize that higher framerates aren't something that a hardware manufacturer can force upon developers.
Every game that runs at 60FPS on todays consoles cut something down (the things Qrphe listed.) to make that happen. Naughty Dog absolutely could have shot for 60FPS average in Uncharted, the games just wouldn't have looked half as good as it does with a 30FPS average. They chose to prioritize the lighting, physics and other technical wizardry ove...
What dirthurts said.
Also Crytek hasn't had anything to do with Far Cry since the first game.
I would accept the Journey stuff as that was a game, one where I had a bit more active role in one what was taking place on screen.
My time spent with Walking Dead I feel is more of a spectator than an active participant. It was just a weird disconnect I had a tough time getting over. I don't begrudge any publication for giving The Walking Dead their game of the year but I don't think it was a flat out better experience than a lot of other more traditional games.
Loved this, and really enjoyed how you pointed out that not all games are fit to be consumed by anyone of any age and that parents need to be far more proactive in monitoring what their kids play.
Personal preference, I don't care for L2 and R2's shape and I hated the original Dpad on the 360. But overall, it's more or less the same thing.
Generalizing audiences is awesome! /sarcasm
I can take all of this seriously, until they get to the: because some woman in the wold make their living by posing half naked, it automatically means men view them as pieces of meat.
Were the dancers in bad taste and totally out of place at a holiday party? Absolutely. Was the decision made and approved by a man? Probably. Does this mean that all of Gameloft, the development community at large, and the community that consumes this content are all a bunch of misogynistic weir...
It's how the Wii U handles emulating the Wii, right down to the internal storage limitations of the Wii. So I really hope you don't hold your breath because unfortunately I don't think it can even be changed.
Skycrawlers, Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story and a few other games are excellent.
I'm getting real tired of all the Nintendo detractors.
I think it's more down to you stating that Jansen was hilarious, he was somewhat amusing at times but hardly a super memorable timeless character.
@DRAGONNIGHT!
*FACEPALM!*
He's talking about a MMO, an MMO to me involves more then 12 player teams (12v12 is the max in DWO, most is 4v4).
From the OP's blog: A battlefield of some open world PvP where the prize is a great amount of currency or armor, hundreds of players vying for one prize, and in the end, only one player remains, in the namesake of a truly free-for-all battle.
Tell me again, how am I wrong and how ...
Your opinions and feelings don't mirror everyone else's. Personally I would like it so I don't need to manually mute every person in the lobby when I play a game online on the playstation.
