I rarely pay full price for a game, and IF I do it has near-infinite replay value. The Rockband games are an example.
Open world games with multiplayer..Red Dead Redemption is an example there.
Long ass RPGs, or ones with replay value...Dragon's Dogma.
The last two I mentioned I didn't pay full price for, but they would be worth the full $60 imo.
I just can't get behind paying $60 for a game like God of War III. ...
I HOPE that Gamestop is having a hard time because people are finally starting to wake up and see that they are ripping gamers off seriously.
It's ok to buy an old used game from there, or if they have a special sale...but buying a used game that's been out a week? I have seriously seen used copies of games costing MORE than a brand new one at Gamestop.
Plus, whatever you trade you in you might as well bend over. I personally keep my games. Used to t...
You will learn something from this game, if you already know how to play then you'll learn new songs, if you don't know how to even hold a guitar then you'll learn a lot.
My only issue with the game has been that its rather poor on PS3. Eventually you'll run into a lot of freezing, even after it was patched.
Problems go away if you start a new profile/save...but will come back again the longer you play, so until this is fixed I'd suggest g...
Agreed with this 110%.
SR3 was complete rubbish. Far too silly and stupid. SR2 on the other hand had a good balance of fun/crazy/serious.
Let's have more of that, and less SR3's stupidness.
So you are saying you have no single player/offline games?
I will be glad when most companies remember that there are other types of games to make than FPS.
I don't care what anyone says, EA is behind a lot of good games. I personally think they are one of the companies that could turn the next Saints Row into something great, instead of that crap that was The Third. They also seem to take chances with games, along with Sony and Square-Enix...sometimes.
THQ has had a long run with wrestling games and apparently can't really improve the things, then again I'm sure that's not the easiest thing to do...same as most ...
I'm gonna have to agree, though maybe it was because I'd never played a game like Morrowind before(I haven't played any of the ES games before that)but it does seem like the games lack something with each release.
I liked oblivion but it felt kinda bare for a world.
Skyrim is different in that aspect, but something is still wrong or missing...I just can't put my finger on it.
On a different subject, I felt the whole dragon th...
If you don't know, then you shouldn't assume.
Most other devs/companies have a handle on the PS3 works by now, so what does that tell you?
On the pc front, modders generally are the ones who improve Bethesda's games. Not just with content but performance too.
It creates an impression they either aren't bothering, or are lacking in the quality testing area.
I say it is. Not because it was my favorite(it isn't)but because of its staying power, plain and simple.
Deny that, and you're just in denial...or crazy.
My personal favorite, SNES. Why? Has nothing to do with graphics or anything like that, its the childhood memories.
Wasn't even my first system.
Wow man, I wouldn't go that far. While it didn't "feel" like Most Wanted, I sure wouldn't say it's the worst racing game EVER.
If I had to give a game that name, it would be one of those 18 Wheeler racing games...something along the lines of that.
No Mike, they don't care about that either.
If we wanted to talk about a PC then we would. This isn't about PC so there's no reason to talk about it, so it kinda ends up being more like...
That guy who comes around and talks about trucks when everyone is having a discussion about cars.
Really though, it seems that this article is here just to get people riled up over something that doesn't matter.
I didn't get to finish Borderlands 2, but I enjoyed 1 up until the end, cause that story was WEAK.
What? You don't play shooters for the story? Well I do. What is the point otherwise? If I simply wanna shoot stuff I could play any old game.
What I did play of Borderlands 2 I liked...alot, and I'm a guy who really can't be bothered with FPS. That means no COD, no Battlefield, no Halo, no Gears and so on.
Disagrees are obviously from:
Crazed fans, haters, and the paid reviewers. :P
Honestly the whole used market is a bit of a rip. You might have better luck with trading via Amazon.com.
I'd never deal with Gamestop as far as trades go. The last time I attempted, I burst out laughing at what they offered for one of my games.
Picked up My Hero and Times Like These....not sure about the rest.
No day one buy for me, never again. No pro(paid)reviews either. I wait and see what common sense gamers have to say.
By that I mean ones that aren't crazed fans or haters...plain and simple.
Even then I only take those opinions lightly.
Not interesting in gaming on a current style tablet...simple as that.
I have no issues with EU getting good PS Plus games considering the price they pay for games in general.
However I can help but say, "What? What the **** is this?" with our PS Plus service.
I couldn't give a damn about a game like this, free or not.
