PS3 can do mods, Unreal Tournament has them. That fact makes me wonder why other games/companies don't do/allow this.
Hot Pursuit was promising, but was missing jumps. Seriously that makes a world of difference.
The new Most Wanted wasn't really a NFS game. THAT was burnout with a new skin.
No customization, No real "feeling" that you are out to get others to become most wanted. Where were the drivers that MADE you want to take them out from their smack talk?
Gone, and while I'm at it, drive thru repairs and paint jobs are a bad idea for ...
Hey guys, I just thought of something. I see that Gamestop seems to be all for the new Xbox, and I personally find that odd.
But what if MS has made some sort of deal with Gamestop regarding the sell and trade of used games?
Maybe some silly points system instead of money, etc.
Perhaps they will sell you a new code provided by MS so you can play the used games you buy and profits are shared?
Ok, nice CGI. Now where is the actual gameplay? As campy said, after a while it is time to worry when no actual gameplay videos or pictures show up.
Until I actually see some game play I'm not really interested.
Pretty CGI and still images mean nothing.
Ok.
This is the most ridiculous $#@! I've heard as of late. No wonder gaming has gone downhill with requests of bs like this.
I think part of the problem is that I expect most current gamers to be around my era(NES,SNES,and up), and I forget that new gamers are appearing.
Gamers now I suspect are the ones who wanna see bs like dinosaurs in top hats with jet packs and other silly nonsense.
I don't MIND that sort of stuf...
You know, I was a big fan of SR2...absolutely hated the direction they took with SR3 and yet I still check the trailers and such in hopes that a glimmer of what made me like SR2 is there somewhere.
And I am always disappointed.
The hell is this?? Now it even looks like they stole some stuff from Prototype?
The only way I'd buy this is if it costs $20 or less, and that's still a big if.
You already know they are plan...
No worries, it's all good. I'm one of those guys that prefers physical media over digital anyway.
I hope this rumor proves to be wrong.
Why?
Because Sleeping Dogs is arriving in my mail tomorrow.....
Finally gave it and bought it. Seriously though, its good if it makes it to +, it is a game well worth playing.
STO is quite good. I haven't played it in a while(burned myself out) but I imagined if I had found a few friends I'd still be there regardless.
THIS Star Trek game though....I already knew was gonna be rubbish, and I expect the movie to be also.
MAG is one of the few FPS that I actually liked. Would love to see something like it again, and I would still play it if it was well populated.
Domination doesn't seem like something that happens anymore, same goes for the dlc modes.
I just find the game dull and boring. I really don't know how else to describe it other than the previously mentioned slow and clunky. I've played it several times since it was first released in beta and my feelings haven't changed.
I'll give it one more try after the next update, but if that doesn't do it for me I'm just gonna move on.
I'm not really a shooter fan anyway.
More hand holding? I am sorry mate, but "imo" that is already out of hand with the series, and many other games.
If this one confuses you, I suggest you not play Morrowind. That one pretty much did throw you out into the world.
This game pretty much directs you everywhere, the only slightly hard bit is when you have to navigate around/through/on mountains. I've honestly had more trouble with the game simply not working right than anything else....
Simple as this for me. A game that has no replay value and is only about 8 hours long is NOT worth $60 to me. I don't care how good the story/gameplay/whatever is. Silly bits like collecting items in game don't count either. "Oh I can collect 100 hidden goldfish bowls? Why? Does it add to the story somehow? No? Just makes the game seem longer? No thanks."
This is why I think lots of devs try to tack multiplayer onto games now, but if not done right it takes...
Sadly, I think this game will do well. People(like me) who wanted the game to step BACK its roots and be more like SR2 will be/are already disappointed. Some of us might get the game regardless. Me, if I do it will not be at full price and it will probably be used.
There are a lot of people who seemed to enjoy SR3(seems to be young kids or people who hadn't played the previous games) I don't know which of these groups(those who like/dislike)have the higher numbers, bu...
Writing it off because SR3 was too silly, and this is clearly even worse in that department.
Nah. Now if you had said SR2 I would have agreed. SR3 is an empty shell of what the series was.
Awful story/characters, weak activities, lifeless city. Even the customization took a step backwards. The sole improvement was graphics.
It does have the plus of having co-op, but that's really it.
Sad to say that SR4 is looking like a disappointment too.
Well I won't be buying this junk. I was seriously hoping they would go back to the series roots and it's pretty damn clear they did the exact opposite.
It's the fact that SR3 and this game are supposed to be part of the Saint's Row series that bothers me since they are NOTHING like the first two games.
SR2 had a good balance of everything, all it needed(and didn't really) was better graphics.
SR3...terrible, nonsense st...
I personally find the game boring and a potential money sink, though I can see how it might be a fun game for some...just not me.
I don't like FPS anyway. I think its cool that the game is linked with the EVE MMO(which I also found boring) but that's about it. The game looks pretty generic otherwise.
I am a console gamer at heart, but I do play a few games on PC. Not the best way to play IMO simply because powering up a console and putting a game in is about as painless as it gets.
It does seem that most are smug, but I am definitely not. I don't care who has a $1000 video card or what temps it runs when overclocked. Plus it seems that almost all can't seem to stop talking about bacon and other well overdone internet/game-related nonsense.
