I think it's a nice thing, but as always you can find the usual people who will complain. There's a few on the PS Blog and the forums.
Pathetic that people like that feel personally entitled.
It's not a surprise, it's just not something someone wants to deal with when they are trying to enjoy a game.
Most of this is true. Sometimes I'll forget that race is an issue for some, I've been to wonderful places where most people I met didn't care what color who is, etc.
But at least once a day, doesn't matter if I go out in public, because I can run into this online...I'll be quickly reminded of how things typically are.
It makes me sad, it really does. There's no reason that things have to be that way. You'll have people that wi...
Hey I can dig that. Sometimes you just can't help having a peek at a game, and like you mentioned it can help with deciding if the game is right for you.
If you want to enjoy a game, always...always stay away from hype. I learned this many years ago.
The best thing to do is to NOT watch trailers, previews, read info, nothing. Don't do anything until the game comes out, read a few GAMER reviews, meaning reviews by your everyday, average fellow gamer, if that doesn't help THEN read a little bit about the game before a purchase. IF you still aren't sure, rent it.
I've enjoyed every game I'...
The important question...can you purchase hookers?
Well? CAN YOU???
J/K
Running along walls is nothing new. This game is just another FPS. Everyone and their mother should be sick of them, and I will be glad with they are on the way out(much like music games...though I love music games).
Folks, you don't need "pro" reviewers to tell you if a game is good or not. ANY shooter that comes out these days is going to be, "just another FPS" among loads and loads of previously released FPS.
THE DAMN THINGS DON'T CHANGE THAT MUCH. I don't care how they try to spin it, or refresh it. Add running over things, leaping off buildings, etc.
It will still be, "just another FPS".I will be glad when devs MOVE ON.
I see no point in moving forward with new consoles as (some) devs are still struggling with making good games on current equipment.
Derailing the convo for a moment...
What I think devs should really focus on is how to make games worth paying $60 for. You hear a lot of complaining about used games and all that, but what fool is going to pay $60 for a game that can be finished in 8 hours or less with virtually no replay value?
If money...
I don't really care much for MS, but come on...this is a bit far don't you think?
You guys make it seem like after midnight, MS and Sony Ninja meet up on a secret battlefield and have fights to the death in order to determine the fate of gamers....
Wait, someone's at my door.
To the above poster, that's exactly my point. Crybabies complaining about a week without online play, I've gone that long without POWER from really bad storms.
The way the people here complain I'm sure they would have started hanging themselves from ceiling fans if it were something that serious.
You sound quite proud of the fact that PSN was hacked.....something is wrong with that...seriously.
At the end of the day it's the gamers that have to suffer with this.
You make it sound as if I am a fanboy, when I am not. There are things I don't like that Sony has done, like the way they handle failed systems, but that's not the issue here.
In regards to the hackers, I agree with what Sony has done, and I can understand w...
Wow some(alot) of you sound like lil' babies that have pissed themselves. Wasting your breath complaining about something you can't do a thing about.
Online play is not a life or death situation for you. Grow up and put on your big boy pants.
Sony is doing what they need to do and making sure they do it right, and if that takes time then so be it, it's not YOUR choice.
Several people here do seem to have their heads on ri...
Half of you probably aren't even old enough to remember the SNES, lol.
It's kind of eerie to think about how much time has passed. It doesn't seem like that long ago I got an SNES for my birthday along with Batman Returns....
I rented games from Breath of Fire to Claymates.
I miss those years...I feel I lost something important from back then.
That is NOT what they said.
It's this sort of thing that makes me not interested in the, "digital age". I for one like owning physical copies of whatever I buy. Way too many things can happen with digital media.
Of course, so can things with physical, but it's a bit easier to deal with.
I feel for Sony, I really do. A vast majority of people just can't seem to grasp a situation entirely and only choose to read select bits and pieces thus vastly affecting the c...
Ultimately, PSN will be back and more secure. Then we can go back to enjoying our games online, meeting up in home, downloading videos or whatever else we enjoy doing.
If Sony had let the hackers play we would be dealing with THE SAME THING THAT IS HAPPENING NOW. It's the custom firmware that is the cause of this mate.
Foolishness, for one thing this is not Sony's fault. First people complain that they shut PSN down(to figure out what was happening) and now that there's a SLIGHT chance info might be compromised.
Just about anything can be hacked or broken into one way or another, and the fact that twit Geohot released important info about the PS3 is the very place to start with this.
If you want to blame anyone, start with the hackers and pirates. Since Sony w...
No. Maybe if this was the Matrix hackers could be heroes.
What's funny is, I used to have a slightly positive outlook on hackers.
Since this has happened....I want to break their hands.
