I have to agree with you on the stories. As I was playing Arkham Asylum I was expecting....something else for Joker's BIG PLAN.
What happened reminded me of old style 80s games where you have a random big boss at the end that seems to have little to do with the story, I kept expecting something else to happen but it never did.
I recall saying, "That's IT??" at the end.
Arkham City was the same way but a bit better, but...
The guy who voiced Joker in the animated Red Hood movie didn't do a bad job in my opinion, get him to do it eh?
This may be good for THQ, but if you go to the Saint's Row forums and read what the long-time SR fans have to say about this game and the way they handled DLC you'd see a lot of unhappy people, me included.
They are really handling this badly from a fan perspective. The latest DLC they released costs $2.99 I believe, and do you know what it's for? A few in-game vehicles that have simply been painted purple.
This is the kinda crap they may he...
I loved DA1. I didn't care much for the combat, but everything else was so good that I could live with it(though the graphics could also have used work).
DA2...I haven't played. Apparently the combat is more my style, but I liked DA1 cause' it pulled me in with the story and the choices you could make.
Sounds like DA2 doesn't have what I want, I can always go back and play it one day if I am in fact wrong. I'll just wait and see what ...
Aside from the fact that the economy is still bad, I would like to think that it means that some gamers are getting sick of the way some companies are acting with dlc, online passes and what not.
I'd like to think it's that, but I don't think it is...
MAG is the only FPS I've bought other than Unreal tournament and resistance. After participating in the beta I knew I had to have it.
About the only really negative problems I had with the game is that a lot of players didn't seem to want to work together(if you played with a random bunch).
After a while it got harder and harder to get a match of dom going depending on what faction you were with, new modes hardly got played due to lack of players,...
Ummm...they already have most of what you want to see....where have you been?
My opinion:
SR3 was disappointing. Now...if you haven't played the previous games, you may not feel this way.
But if you have at least played Saints Row 2, then you might be disappointed like me.
The game took a step forward with graphics, but two steps back in regards to the story, missions, and general open world content, which SR2 had PLENTY of...and now they are falling in line with other companies that like to release DLC rip ...
In the old days that you speak of, I often wished gaming was more mainstream so that I'd have more people to game with(where I lived it was considered for kids, nerds, etc).
This generation it seems I got my wish, but it came true at the cost of what made gaming so great in the first place.
It just isn't what it used to be folks.
1. For me personally, I haven't felt shafted with games like Rockband. They released their games with plenty of songs, and the DLC they provide enhance the game at a reasonable price. THAT is the way to do dlc.
2. This never fails to surprise me. Certain FPS games haven't done anything new in ages, and are nothing but cash grabs. You see lots of people complain about these games yet when another sequel appears they(customers) immediately put their faces down and as...
I always hope to find huge sea monsters or something in the water with open world games....it would be cool to see anyway....just for the "Oh %$&@!!!!" moment.
You know what's sad? They COULD have mod support with the PS3. Unreal Tournament 3 did, I see no reason Skyrim or Fallout couldn't.
They tried to say that it seems they couldn't come to some sort of agreement with Sony/Microsoft but what I believe they MEAN is they couldn't for both PS3 and 360.
Considering the poor effort they have done with fixing issues/properly supporting their previous games on consoles(mainly PS3) I am not really s...
You aren't missing anything as far as the whole "joke" goes. It was funny ONE time MAYBE....now it's just something that needs to go away.
I want to see more "average" cars and classic muscle. I never was a big fan of tuner type cars. To be perfectly honest I really, really miss the special car-related cups the series used to have in A-spec.
I guess they are doing that in a way, but it doesn't "feel" the same.
If you read what I wrote, I do believe I said MY personal thought.
"I" think cheating is wrong period. If someone else thinks it's ok, then it's their lack of morals. It is also not an accident. You don't accidently sleep with someone.
With the amount of STDs flying around these days, cheating can do something to someone with them being unaware of it.
An old girlfriend calls you up several years out of the blue a...
I suggest you guys read some of the comments on the site where the original post was, I agree with some of those comments. My personal thought on this....
There is no gray area with relationships/cheating. It is wrong, simple as that. Some say, "I cheated because I was being mistreated/ignored/whatever.&q uot; as if that makes it ok. It does not. END the relationship if you are going to go sleep with someone else.
I think it's good she evaluated ...
I've seen this many, many times on many different sites, but it made me actually laugh this time.
This is why I play the game on PC. All anyone has to do is look at the work done by fans for Morrowind and Oblivion. Amazing stuff.
Jet Moto anyone?
No, no you are not the only one. Not only was batman insanely buffed, but if I remember right Gordon looked that way too in Arkham Asylum.
Yeah Batman is in shape, but come on it looks like his suit is about to explode or something.
