Forced gay characters? Have we played the same game? XD you know you don't have to go around flirting with dudes if you don't want to, right? Now Dragon Age 2 did have a few awakward moments on that front. Especially with Anders going PMS because you tell him you just want to be friends. I mean that was like the best, nicest answer you can give someone you're not attracted to but still want to stay friends with. DAI though? Nothing like that. Like I said don't flirt with guys ...
IMO it's the other way around. As much as I like Bethesda, I prefer Bioware's games. Bethesda's Fallout games aren't as good as the 2 first games. Let's not forget what Bioware has done before joining EA. Also, you can't judge the whole company over one employee's twitter. It's not like it was a press conference where the whole of Bioware officially declared thie Fallout 4 trailer sucked.
Well he actually only stated his opinion. It may not look good to do so in his position but it wasn't that disrespectful.
Why should we feel forced to take sides? Dragon Age Inquisition was awesome. So was every Fallout game. I'm not going to shit on either just because one Bioware employee is sore over the Fallout 4 trailer (which was good IMO)
It's probably vanity gear for Metal Gear Online. But what do I know? "MGSV has microtransactions" is a much better headline if you need clicks.
I partly agree wih you on that. As a matter of fact, I'm working on a similar game at the moment in which I opted for 2D graphics over 3D though mostly because of cost. I think 3D has interesting advantages over 2D in the long run and, like seppo mentionned, you can also use shaders to make it look a little like classic sprites. I think 3D has more potential in the long run. It's also much easier to work with in cases where you want to make an HD upgrade, modify graphics or animations...
Who cares about that?
One hour is rushing through.
Six hours is pretty much the average time taken for doing every mission once while not taking your sweet time.
You can get more than that if you play the missions on hard and try to get 100% but that's not for everyone.
Most people can easily get 6-7 hours out of it.
IMO it looks bad but people can do whatever the hell they want. I'm not going to judge that.
You don't like it: don't get it. You like it: just get it.
Who cares the devs are being "dicks"?
Yep xD.
I'm sure if he talked about Avengers, it'd mean Zone of the Enders 3 was confirmed.
He's not exactly cryptic. People just like to try to decrypt things that aren't there whenever he opens his mouth.
I'm glad to see he got picked up. Not my favorite place but if it gives me a good reason to get an Xbox I'm all for it. I was half expecting him to turn up with an indie studio and a kickstarter for a sci-fi RPG.
He was also the reason the entire trilogy happened. He did a LOT more good than bad. Mass Effect was an amazing experience. Maybe the ending wasn't the best there is but when I think Mass Effect I think about the whole journey. The begining and then end don't matter that much IMO it's what's inbetwee .
What I really enjoyed was waiting a couple rounds before starting to hide in a box. I'd break boxes that were already there and then take its place as a box. No one ever suspected it.
After a while, they'd get paranoid and start shooting at every box they saw but I wasn't in them anymore xD
Good times.
I'm pretty sure you can still do that. Cardboard boxes are sort of an MGS trademark.
I don't know honestly. I'm hyped as hell for the game but right now I want to stay as far away from trailers as possible to avoid seeing too much/getting spoiled.
I mean the game is coming out in three months. Not like it was another year or two.
That's just me. I guess I'm still sore over the MGS3 trailers that showed almost half of the game's cutscenes.
@kupomogli
Those other companies had some bad calls over the years but Konami has had some VERY bad calls over the past two months alone. They're burying themselves at an alarming rate with every new announcement.
"see? we can do Metal Gear Solid without Kojima!"
That actually could explain it. I hadn't thought of that.
I was thinking about that after Iga's kickstarter. Iga is nowhere near as popular as Kojima and Castlevania isn't quite as popular as MGS either (though close enough). I was actually pretty surprised to see Iga's kickstarter was so successful. Almost 1.5mil in the first day. Now imagine how much Kojima would raise for a spiritual successor to MGS or Silent Hills.
@Palitera
I do have many fond memories of the early Castlevania and Contra games but I haven...
People will just disagree if they don't like you or don't like what you say. Another reason is simply to troll.
It's not an actual disagreement which is why people will "disagree" to facts.
I mean I prefer Bioware games over Bethesda's but I still love both. I think Dragon Age and Fallout games both have things the other doesn't and I like it that way. I'm not going to hate on either because of a Twitter post.
