No one could have predicted the Vita was going to do this badly. Actually, seeing as how the PSP was finally doing pretty good at the time, I totally expected the Vita to succeed.
The only things keeping me from buying a Vita is that we can't stream/plug it to the TV in any way possible. The Vita TV kind of does that but you can't play the games that required the touch screen... which are the ones that interest me the most to begin with. As for the playing on TV part...
It's not that different from before. It's just that people nowadays have the Internet which they use to argue for all to see. 15-20 years ago, we'd argue in person. Some were louder than others and spouted nonsense such as "X company going bankrupt anytime now" or other kind of unverified bull. At least now most people have easier access to the means to verify their claims.
That said, it was retarded back then and it's retarded now.
I'm sure they'll support it. As for who is going to, I'm pretty sure it's the same team that was supposed to to begin with. The koji pro LA studio. They had their name changed to Konami LA or whatever but they probably didn't get hit as hard as KojiPro Tokyo.
It's probably going to play more like MGO2 than the first. That said, smarter/sneakier players tended to have a huge advantage over those who just ran around shooting everywhere. I expect it to be similar.
Then don't support and play those games if it offends you.
Why not give them a huge discount? It sucks if you bought the game on oldgen and were expecting the same DLC as the current gen platforms which IMO you'd have no reason not to expect. Not sure those people would have bought the game on those platforms or at all if they'd been told they wouldn't get the DLC. Personally don't care as I own it on PS4 and I'm not interested in the DLC but I don't know it doesn't seem right.
Well they did take most of what was planned for episodes 3-6 (and some stuff that was originally planned to happen in episode 2) and put it in episode 3 so it is complete in thar sense.
Xenogears does have a cult following (that game is just legendary) but again not a big one in terms of numbers. I'd say it's probably similar to Xenosaga (though a lot of poeple find it hard to like both for some reason. Don't know why. I love both.)
And honestly a...
It wouldn't be that taxing with Namco backing them. A lot of HD remasters were outsourced to smaller studios with a bigger studio backing them.
Yes you did. Did you play it? At one point she'll grab you from behind and break your neck. You don't have to be looking at her for that to happen but she does turn you around when she does it.
Anyway PT was awesome.
Probably not indeed. They'd likely outsource it to a smaller studio and only publish it themselves.
Just game whever you want. You prefer consoles. Keep playing on them.
The thing is, technology and gameplay are closely linked together. It's not all about graphics and better tech doesn't necessarily mean better gameplay but it does help.
I don't completely disagree with you. My main platform is the PS4.
The Xenosaga fan community isn't huge and not very organized. I'm sure it could prove profitable to remaster it if they don't spend an obscene amount of money on it. Now it may not have a lot of fans but they're very dedicated.
Not sure Kickstarter is the way to go however. It wouldn't look good for a big name like Namco to resort to crowdfunding. Not sure how I'd feel about it either. I mean it's not like they need the money. Then again, it is a ...
Or they'll make the option of saving her into a DLC xD
My thoughts exactly. They should be adding/improving stuff. Not the other way around.
The Wolf Among Us and Game of Thrones are really good. I haven't tried Tales From The Borderlands since I'm not a big fan of Borderlands but seeing the feedback it has here I might give it a go.
I loved it but I agree with you that its ties with MGS are mostly in name only. Which is what all Metal Gear games not directed by Kojima end up being.
I didn't like the story much but I thought the gameplay was great. Even though a lot of people complained about length, I still played about 40-50 hours. I think you have the right attitude seeing it as a different game because that's exactly what it is.
I know I can't change your mind about it bu...
Not bad xD. It's not they were hinting at anything though. FFFIV has hundreds of references to other video games including another one to Metal Gear Solid in a main story cutscene of ARR.
I bought it in its second year before the price was cut (like two weeks before) and I never once regretted it. Not even 4 years later when it died.
So yes. 599$ well spent.
I'll agree with you that, looking back, they made a lot of bad calls at Sony but that's only because they didn't have their ways.
Edit: Meanwhile, my 360 didn't last one year even though I barely used it at all.
It actually looks like they're trying new things with this one. Why is everyone flipping out? Not sure I'll play it since I was never interested in Minecraft to begin with.
Give the Walking Dead writers a break if you want a good season 3.
It was never okay either way. Microsoft or Sony. It's a retarded practice. I'm all for exclusivity but timed exclusivity is something else. I usually don't even buy the games that do that unless it's a franchise I particularly like.
Basically, I like when a game takes full advantage of a platform's hardware but when it doesn't and it's clearly built on a multiplatform engine well that's just wrong.
