In my experience as a developper though you'd normally have a say in taking the project or not. I've never heard of someone learning they were the lead/director during the project's presentation xD
You could be right about the multiple directors though as I imagine the team is huge.
And it already reached its goal so no problem really.
You can always count on Reggie for a good laugh xD
I've never seen any gay sex in any Bioware game.
Maybe it's because I don't try to have sex with guys. That could be your problem.
Indeed it's a no brainer. None of the games you listed interest me in the slightest xD. It's all a matter of taste. Just play on your X1 and I'll play on my PS4. It's a no brainer really.
The majority of FF fans are likely on PS4 and PC but there's still enough of them to justify releasing it on the Xbox One.
I guess it wasn't clear for some reason but when I talk battle system, I mean everything related to it such as the materia system and the customization.
When have I ever said I'd pass on a good RPG just because it wasn't turn-based xD I've played and loved JRPGs that aren't turn-based. The point is, when you remake a game you need to find a perfect balance between keeping it the same and changing it.
And yes it was a serious question. If ...
If you don't like turn-based combat then why do you even like the game? It's not a remake if they're just going to use the characters' design for a new game and loosely base it on FFVII.
Yeah that's what I think too. It probably uses the same engine as well.
I haven't heard about it being confirmed for any platform but PS4 but they did say PS4 first. I see no reason why they shouldn't port it to X1 eventually.
The only things they need to change are the graphics and the sound quality. For the love of god, don't mess with the story or the battle system. Expanding on it sure but I mean they shouldn't alter what's already established. If they change it too much it won't be the same game anymore.
I trust Kojima's judgement on that. He said the game was impressive technologically speaking but not much fun. Also, the directors handling it seemed to have even less interest for storytelling than Platinum's people had. I think it was the best thing to do. I do wish I could get my hands on KojiPro's version though.
It's not Platinum's call. Konami own the IP. Even if Platinum wanted, they'd still need Konami's okay to go and we all know how Konami has been lately.
Yeah. It's a shame a lot of people didn't even try it yet claim it's terrible or short because of the way the game counts the amount of time you played using only your best times between checkpoints. The story was average at best for a Metal Gear but I loved everything else.
1. It was good.
2. It's canon.
The only reason they removed "solid" from the name was to differentiate it from the main series because MGR isn't a stealth game and they wanted to make it clear that it was radically different from the rest. They set the game later in the timeline so it wouldn't mess with the rest of the MGS story while also giving the devs as much freedom as possible.
I think I use the right stick at least as much as the buttons. Depends on the game I guess.
For me the reason I stick with PS is the exclusives. Then the controller. Still, a 360-like PS controller is nothing new. On PS4 perhaps but I've seen them on PS3.
I don't understand how it could hurt. One complain I've heard from the first three dualshocks was that people claimed their thumbs were hitting each other and that their hands would get sore real fast. How the hell were they holding it? XD
Anyway I know some controllers may be tougher on some people more than others. I also don't like the 360 style's asymetry. I can live with it but I don't like it.
I hope so. It looks pretty good.
It could be but I still think they'd have come out by now. It's generating a lot of publicity and while there is technically "no such thing as bad publicity," I still think it's not healthy at all. A lot of people have canceled their preorders and it's also hurting Konami's reputation and even if it's "just a joke", it'd take a while to rebuild.
So yeah. I think they'd have come out with the truth by now. But who knows. We&...
