I think Konami needs to improve in its lack of Hideo Kojima.
They rebooted it when it was still doing fine and still had stories left to tell. Aside from that, I think some people are mad at Lord of Shadows 2 but I'm also in the dark about that one.
Yeah rentals I can play whenever I want, for as long as I want and had for free with my subscription. Call it what you want. It doesn't change the fact that it's an awesome service.
Both this and Hatred are just begging for attention. Both also don't seem to have very good gameplay.
IMO, if the game is well-made and fun, I don't care if it's "offending."
I'm with morganfell on this one. I don't want Konami to continue working on it. I want Kojima, Del Toro and Reedus to work on it or for those three to make an original horror title based on it instead.
There's negativity surrounding DLC for a good reason but I agree that not all DLC deserve it. In this particular case, it looks like good DLC.
If it's anything like Xenosaga, it'll be an alternate costume that you need to unlock. Just don't dress her like that if it offends you. Problem solved.
They could do it with a smaller budget. Maybe Kojima will still do it under another name. PT didn't borrow anything from Silent Hill and neither did the other teaser video.

Actually, Konami still has MGS and Silent Hill. That's what worries me at the moment.
It's easy money for them. They don't have any real development to do and they make money off an old game on a new platform. They don't really care if most people like it at this point. The name Final Fantasy alone means it'll sell enough to justify porting it.
I know it sucks but that's probably what's going on.
Or you could preorder it online and not have to deal with people who can't wash properly/at all. I sometimes get the games one day before official release. One time I even got it on a friday.
Nice. I guess It might not have been so bad if it had its own platinum and trophy set separate from MGSV's.
I know Mass Effect 3 did that but that might not be what you're thinking of since IMO it didn't do it very well. You could get the online trophies offline but the goals took forever if you did.
About the glitches, he didn't direct ZoE so it's not really one of his games per se. He did produce it but that was it. It was actually Shuyo Murata who directed the second ZoE and some other guy who directed the first. Murata is another great director IMO but sadly lives in Kojima's shadow. He also co-directed most of the Metal Gear Solid games since MGS2 or 3 if my memory serves. If anyone could take over it'd be this guy... but I don't really think anyone could take ove...

Agreed but it's not getting much competition on that front xD. IMO, the only real competition being the next Xenoblade.

They just proved how out of touch they are with reality. Metal Gear Solid on mobile? Yeah that worked really well in the past. Wow. Just... Wow.
I know many gamers who game on PC. I know a bunch who play on consoles. But I don't know a single one that plays on mobile.
I've seen plenty of people playing games on tablets or phones in the bus but that's it. That's the future ...
