I think it has more to do with people having low expectations for Nintendo after their last couple of consoles (IMO it's been going downhill since the N64 but I know some disagree).

I'm glad it's fake though. I'd like nothing more than for Nintendo to get back in the game properly this time around and that fakd controller was just atrocious xD

That would actually be the best move and it could explain why they haven't announced their own headset yet. IMO I'd be more interested in a headset I can use on both a console and PC.

Well if the NX controller we've seen floating around is real they probably have given up, yes xD

In all seriousness, you're right it's a ridiculous title.

They probably are. However, if they do decide to step in, they'll be a little late to the party. They'll be in a safe spot if VR doesn't do well but possibly in a tight one if it does really well and they haven't announced theirs already.

It's a wise move. There's a good hype for PSVR right now but there's still no guarantee that it'll do well. I mean look at motion gaming. The hype was huge and it sold extremely well for the time but it's pretty much abandoned on all fronts right now. I guess PSVR will breathe new life into PS Move but that's if Sony decides to support it after launch. I love Sony's products but they have a habit of doing that. I mean look at Move and the Vita. I think I'll wai...

I agree that the PS+ games have been lacking in quality ever since the PS4 came out. I was under the impression that it was because the PS4 didn't have a big enough library yet but for some reason it stuck with the same formula since then.

We don't even get good indies anymore on PS+. And I agree that for once the GWG lineup is kinda solid. Better than what we've been getting recently anyhow.

@Foxtrot

Pretty sure they'll stick to handheld if it fails. Hell, the NX could be handheld for all we know. But I agree it'll suck if they go mobile.

It's... Pretty bad. I hope it's fake for Nintendo's sake and ours. IMO they should stick with the Wii U gamepad. I like it. It could use some improvement but it's a good direction.

One Link is the hero of time. They aren't all the same guy. Samus on the other hand is always the same character throughout the series.

It's cheaper than the competition even if you need to buy the camera.

I'm sure the X1 will do fine. Still plenty of people will use it. Not everyone is interested in Mario or VR.

Lol, you can keep your elite controller. I'll stay with my Dualshock 4 and VR.

@Blackout

If you want an upgradable console then maybe you should get a PC? They've been around for quite some time now. Anyway, it might have been true last gen that Sony was following Microsoft but this gen it's been the other way around. Or have you forgotten about that whole DRM thing they removed from the console at the last minute?

@FarEastOrient

You beat me to it. Though to be fair, Final Fantasy XI ws also on the X360 and was played on the same servers as PC and PS2.

Loved The Last of Us but they should work on something new.

I guess that means the NX will be successful then and that it's either coming out this year or in 2018 but definitely not 2017.

You have a time machine or something?

"No Mans Sky still isn't proven to be a good game at all."

The same could be said of the other games you named. Of the indie games coming out this year, No Man's Sky appears to be the most notable. We'll just have to wait and see if it's GOTY material.

I did say I thought it was worth its 60$ price tag, did I not?

My point was that I would have priced it lower to avoid the current situation altogether. They're an indie studio and people expect indie games to be cheaper. I'm not against it being 60$. I'm just saying it's a bold move for an indie studio. I'm planning on getting it at some point regardless of the price. It looks like an amazing game and I wish them the best.

I was going to get an Xbox One as well mostly for Quantum Break and I'm mainly a PS gamer. Now I don't really have any reason to buy one. I can just as well plug a controller in my PC and hook my PC to my TV for the same experience.

I still think it's a cool move. I like the direction Microsoft is taking lately. They're less restrictive with their devices and software and that's a great plus.
