You need to download the latest unofficial patch it fixes alot of stuff. you can also get a hex editor and change the games resolution to anything you like.

I played it on my Laptop with a 5870m ran flawlessly. I am traveling currently once back home i will try it on my monster rig(which has nvidia GPUs).

While i aint commenting on R3 since i dont have a PS3, Good luck paying 60usd for new maps for the same old game :)

Did you install the latest unofficial patch?

Well you see people pay for the same HD remake that they bought last gen, while they have no clue if it will work on the next box, for all you know you may have to buy another remake of the same game again just so you can play it on the next box.

Atleast with PC you do have 99% chance that the game will work for a very very long time. I can currently play games back from 1996 via dos box sooo...

Its funny but people actually pay alot more for upressed HD releases :)

I recently played this game in 1080p ;-)

I would agree on that bit, most casuals really dont know 3DS is actually a different gen of the handheld. Which is why they may not be picking it up.

Well sure there is room for the hardcore, however the thing is the casuals are in the masses.

Unfortunately for Nintendo it was the casuals that bought the Wii and DS in droves. However now that the same casuals can simply get smartphones(which they need anyways). So the hardware cost is null because everyone needs a phone. Nintendo used to sell the casuals games for 30-40usd, when the same casuals can get simular games for 1-5usd, it really does make a big difference.

Its really the first time a Nintendo handheld console is having a hard time selling. I think the invasion of Smartphones may be reason to blame.

While the hardcore(which are few and far between) may buy the dedicated handheld gaming unit, and then pay 40usd per game. Most casuals need a phone anyways, then paying 1-5usd for casual games is a lot easier. I guess this is what is happening and if this is true dedicated handheld consoles may take a huge hit.

Lol my 11 year old brother started of gaming on PC when he was 10 or so. If he can play on it, i am sure anyone not mentally handicapped in their teens can.

Infact its so easy lol, instead of running out to get a disk then keeping it safe all you need to down is click install, wait for download then click play, couldnt be simpler.

Lol not true, Game like crysis 1 which is still one of the best looking games out there didnt cost too much to make.

5361d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

They really arent. That is if you are sensible.

I bought about 6 great games this summer sale of steam just for about 100usd. So no i dont think games are expensive.

Personally have over 150games on my steam list alone.

Its just that console gaming is expensive. Game prices barely go down, and newly released games always charge a premium.

DLC is cool i love all the free DLC on Left4dead 2 and TF2 ;-) Thanks Valve:)

Not supporting EA thats for sure, not after how they treat gamers.

Specially with shutting down servers and crap just so people can buy their next rehash. Sorry i dont like most EA games anyways.

5361d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

Lol why not just play on the PC instead of going through all the hassle and not even ending up with real AA.

95% games released are out on PC anyways and cheaper. So again remind me why go through the hassle?

Most console exclusives like Uncharted, Gow 3 dont really need more AA then they already come with anyways. So why would anyone want to go through all this hassle for a multiplat and then still be limited to 720p or below with 30fps, not to mention need ...

"In what world are games getting cheaper?"

www.steampowered.com says hi.

batman AA currently for 7.5usd GOTY edition ;-)

Most new games are at discounts within 2-3 months of release. on this summer sale i bought games like:

Shogun 2
Warhammer dawn of war 2 retribution
justcause 2
shift 2 unleashed
witcher 2
vampire the masquerade

all for under a 100usd.

PC gaming isnt just about graphics thats for sure. I still play games like:

Warcraft 3, CS both of those are 10 years old. They sure as hell dont look good, its just that they offer a different expereince to what todays casual games do. Hell i even play games from the good old Dos days emulated via Dosbox on my modern PC today.

PC is like a freaking time machine, i have games ranging from different ages. Its just something not possible on console. I recen...

@moty

looks like you forgot to read the starting of my quote and rather decided to quote whatever serves your purpose. Learn 2 read imo, 3-4 year old PC will perform better then console. Now if you arent satisfied with that level of perofrmance you wont be happy with Console either. However PC does give you the choice to upgrade if you do have the finance. I hope thats not too hard to digest.

Its not about the hardware mate. Sony a...

Any 3-4 year old PC will play it better then a console and if you are unhappy with the way the game performs you do have the OPTION to upgrade. Not like you have that option on console.

5363d ago 2 agree5 disagreeView comment

Usually when a PC game sells for 50usd the developer ends up getting 20usd (this is when the sells digitally).

Console games sell on retail, when a console game sells for 60usd the developer gets 10usd.

This would mean when a PC game sells 1million copies it actually equals the profitability of 2 million sold on console.
