Dam borderlands is still selling on PC, while console sales are long dead, PC keeps trucking along. Natural advantage of digital platforms, the sales keep raking in they dont end.

Ill take the PC version thanks you :)

Problem was if the people who want to play COD, they will play COD. Crysis2 didnt bring anything new to the table. It was just better graphics however lower FPS(which is understandable due to console limitations).

Hopefully next time they wont forget their core gamer, the PC gamer and take a simular decision as to what Dice is doing with BF3.

Please dont give us the garbage without Cell you wouldnt have the game. An 8800GTX with a dualcore cpu beats whatever a PS3 (Cell + RSX) cand dish out. I initially played a game like Crysis in 1080p on that setup. Seems like PS3 with a dumbed down crysis 2 can barely handle 720p. So i wouldnt say game wouldnt be possible if Cell wasnt there.

You do realise MLAA is a shader effect its not even real AA and can cause games to go blurry. The only reason they introduced MLAA is be...

@persistantthug

yea and lets turn a blind eye to the rest of the developers. is it so hard to accept hardly anyone aside firstparty use the cell.

God you PS3 fans are a deluded lot. no ones arguing at the capability of the cell, i am just saying most devs dont invest in it because they dont see it worth the financials it needs. Which is why PS3 is mostly always in 3rd place when it comes to multiplats.

Had Sony saved their money and gone wit...

@sweetyflorida

Actually aside the firstparty devs hardly anyone is using the cell to its potential and again most devs dont invest the time because they dont dont want to be wasting so much resources just for 1 platform.

Had the Cell not been developed that money could have been saved toward a 8800gtx or so, trust me PS3 would have been leagues ahead of what it is today just with that one change. When it comes to graphics tasks cell stands no chance against a...

Remind me why should a multiplat developer go out of his way to develop for an unknown architecture.

Sony should have simply given it a PowerPC CPU like the Xbox and given it a much more powerful GPU like the 8800GTX. PS3 would have been playing all games in 1080p near 60fps.

I guess they initially wanted Cell to do all the graphics work which is why they wanted to implement 2 cells in the PS3, after they released how much of a disaster its going to be they r...

The HD remakes are just upresses, they wont be looking any better then the PC versions :) dont believe me look at what happened with prince of persia, tombraider both of those dont look better then the PC versions. Console gamers who bought them on the PS2 are having to buy them again on PS3 just so they can enjoy 720p while PC gamers are playing the same games in 1080p or beyond. Next up you may end up buying the same remakes on PS4 again, who knows.

Most developers hardly...

Lol not playing COD, its so boring and repetitive.

Personlly i dont like playing games below 60fps, thats the minimum for me. Anyways it good to be a PC gamer. As long as you have the hardware 60fps for BF3 is not a problem and even if you dont and you prefer 60fps you can always lower the detail a bit.

PC gaming it only does everything - even gives you options :P

COD really is the only shooter along with Halo that sells 5million plus on a single console. Aside those 2 games console gamers dont have another First person shooter that runs @ 60fps. The same is not valid for PC gamers. Hence we can say as a console gamer your choices are limited to Halo or COD for a 60fps experience. Which is not the case with PC.

PC gamers have too many FPS games to play around with. Which is why we generaly dont rush to the 1-2 FPS games.

Check out the blackops sells on PC, its virtually dead, While MW2 was constantly in the top sellers on Steam. People lost interest in Black ops fairly early.

I think this is happening because there is no innovation in COD, its just new maps and some new perks on a yearly basis. People are getting tired of this, paying 60usd for this sorta stuff is crap. When you could be playing games like TF2 which are free and actually offer free maps, mods, dedicated servers etc.

Every game sold digitally on a platform like Steam or D2D is 2x as profitable as the retail version. Which means when a PC game sells 1 million, it actually equates the proft of the same console game selling 2million.

This is all happening because PC has gone digital which leads to following advantages:

No packaging cost
No transport cost
no retailer margins
no damages
no royalty to a console maker
No returns from retai...

EA will just lose out on profitable sales. Ill be buying the CD key for the game. The game not being on Steam doesnt mean i will buy it from origins.

The keys will cost me a mere 30usd, if thats what EA wants thats what they will get :)

Haha only console gamers would subscribe to such a service, they are used to that sort of treatment.

Pc only gamer here, have too many games to bother with another platform. Can play all console games too aside just PS3 and Xbox 360(from which 95% games are on PC anyways).
