The Dunia engine was pretty good, i think they need to make the game more story focused instead of the mindless repeatfest of Farcry 2.

Well i personally dont play on console anymore, i play TF2(PC version of course) mostly for my online needs. Lovely game has everything i would want from a game:

Dev support
Community support
Free mods and DLCs
No control from companies like Sony or MS (where they can pull the plug when ever they like, like what happened with halo 2 on Xbox).

Same game new maps is enough reason, its as if people are paying 60usd for a new DLC of maps lol. I would look at it as if it was a yearly 60usd subscription for most people anyways.... and people complain they wouldnt pay to play fps online haha, most people are essentially paying 5usd a month :P
They should have never released it. They could have made a completely new game then capitalized on the IP and it probably would have paid well.

BC2 already ran at 720 28fps on both consoles, if they are going to make it look any better they will need to trade off either resolution or frame rate.
Guess why does COD runs at 60fps on console its because it looks crappy and runs in 630p.
Bottom line if they are going to attempt to make the game look better the FPS would have to take a hit, which is something i dont think they will be doing. IMO BF3 on console will look very simular to BC2. Anyone looking...

BC2 sold the best on PC, and since that is the platform which truely allows them to do what they would like to without putting limitations, they are primarily focusing on PC.

Dragon age origins was a true PC game and PC gamers loved it. If this will be targetted for the masses with little to no RPG eliments it will surely be a no purchase from me, just like i didnt buy da2.

Mod tools seem to be going the way of the Dodo, same is the fate with complex games. Everything is about going mainstream these days, cattering to the bigger audience.
Obviously the same audience also is not aware about mod tools and will willingly pay for DLC map packs.
