Its funny but Crytek hoped to acheieve great sales by going console, looks like they will fail to cross the 3 million sale they made on PC with crysis 1.
I think the reason why Crysis didnt make a full blown Crysis 2 game is because console gamers would then cry about the vast differences between PC and console. Watch what is happening with BF3.
Console gamers are literally crying that a PC with superior hardware is capable of running the game better.
Well question to console gamers, If PC versions of games wont look better, then why will PC gamers carry on buying Nvidia and AMD hardware? If that starts happen...

Well yes that is comon sense. however when console gamers were told of this very fact, they said the usual crap they are fed "Newer engine will perform better"
Well wake up people there is only so much a newer engine can do, it wont make 6 year old hardware new again.

I can understand mods for a PC which is heavily overclocked etc, a console shouldnt need any of this.
Hell no it doesnt need 1080p thats so last gen. Running at 5760*1080 is more like it.
OB and MW have literally 1000's of mods on the PC. Will be cool if console gamers can get a taste of mods.
Though i find it hard to believe the only reason they dont allow mods on console is because they would rather want people to buy DLCs.

If you feel so badly against Steam you can always buy games from D2D, Gamers gate etc.
Most of us buy from Steam due to service they provide hence dont mind the DRM.
DRM is only bad its intrusive and doesnt allow you to play what you paid for.
If anything Steam has given us the choice 1000's of games which we previously coudnt find at retail. Since retailers cant possibly keep stock on all games released.
Its not like there arent other DD services competing with Steam. In fact its on consoles that XBL or PSN have no competition. You wont find another service selling XBL or PSN games.
Further more funny people dont consider when buying games on a console, as soon as the next box releases you run...

Sorry but the cell isnt versatile, if it was more devs would be taking advantage of it. you would also see it being sold as a PC upgrade if it was so good.
The xdr ram is nothing special either even when compared to the ddr 3 ram installed on 3-4 year old gpus.
Lol my 12 year old brother plays on PC and finds it more convenient in comparison to console.
No need to worry about disks. Click game on Steam "play". Much easier then finding disks all the time, good riddance.

Then you will be looking for piddly differences, Prepare to get that handy microscope as with any multiplat release there is almost no difference between the consoles. PC version on the other hand :P

Well many things got dumbed down due to consoles.
FPS games never used to have regenerative health or noob aim assist. RPG games actually used to have stats and needed some thought into the way people wanted to develop their characters.
DA:origins was possibly my goty 2009(PC version) after the dumbing down with DA2 i never bought it.
PC gaming still does get its share of complex games Shogun 2 being a recent example.
