Ugh, this "Wii U has no games" rhetoric has to stop. There's not a ton of games but there is plenty to justify owning one IMO. Donkey Kong, Pikmin, ZombiU, Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart comes out in a month and Smash, Bayonetta and X are all due this year. Not to mention there is 300 indie titles on the way.

I'm pretty sure it's more to reduce spam than anything regarding Nintendo's image. Miiverse allows a lot of different discussions, including debate. But there's also a lot of spam and trolling.

Congrats indeed! There's a lot of enthusiasm for and from indies on Wii U. It's quite exciting. :)

Whatever it is, it sadly won't have Shepard. I just want to know what's going to the galaxy after the Reaper attacks and I'd like to see how Shepard impacted everyone centuries after the fact. So I agree, I want it to take place after the trilogy and not before.

Missed my chance to back it, so I'll just buy it when it hits the eShop. :)

You should look at the list of indie games before you judge them. There is a lot of neat content in there.

Indies are on easy street because of Wii U's indie engine support, just like Sony's platforms. AAA devs and publishers use more bloated budgets because of their bigger engines.

edit: Forgot to add that third parties just don't know what to do with the Wii U. Or how to market them. So generally we've seen them do really stupid things with their Wii U releases. Rayman Legends I think was the most controversial, but definitely not the only stupid move from third ...

Dang... that's a lot to choose from.

Unless they had cross-buy at launch, selling both versions at the same time would just create software cannibalism. The 3DS version would eat the Wii U version alive. Separating the two and releasing the Wii U version during the heat of the holiday shopping season is a lot smarter than we think it is.

But that would make us have to wait even longer! D:

Keep in mind, they haven't announced any of the exclusive modes and features for the Wii U version. I would think that the good Miiverse options will probably be in that version, for example. Also don't forget about local multiplayer on an HDTV. If you want a tournament, you're gonna want that HD version. They also have said that there is incentive to buy both versions, so who knows? Maybe the 3DS version will help sell the Wii U version.

I think your first reason is the most telling for Vita's sales. However, those memory cards are what hold me back the most. They're just way too expensive, which is a shame because SD cards on 3DS are stupid cheap. Vita's a fantastic device, but sadly I don't believe it is an infallible piece of hardware.

Two sticks > one nub. 'Nuff said.

Like SilentNegotiator said above, there ARE some critical factors when it comes to Vita. It doesn't have enough exclusives to really entice people outside of the Sony fanbase. Of course we love it! It plays most, if not all of the games we want. But not everyone cares for that novelty. When you look at 3DS, it's cheap and has a lot of games you won't ever be able to play on Wii U. Vita is more expensive and has a lot of games also playable on its console brethren. I love Vita'...

I get what you're saying (and that sounds a lot like the Wii U when I think about it) but I don't think that all makes the hardware bad. It has a small number of exclusives, it's compatible with some PSOne Classics (and someday soon we can buy ALL of them), indie games, even full new console games, and it has a lot of cool features like its HD screen and remote play. I think it will sell a decent amount over time as more games come out, same as Wii U.

Hang in there, E3 is just around the corner!

I beat the trilogy not long ago, and I really enjoyed it. The ending was kind of a letdown, but I hope that the new game will be affected by the last choice in the game. All of those outcomes can actually lead to a lot of interesting plot differences for the new game.

Not a bad idea, honestly. Bioware has been pretty quiet since their last release, and we've heard next to nothing about their new games. I smell a couple of E3 reveals...

Another great looking indie game expanding and reaching more people. I'm so glad for the indie scene right now. :D

Yeah I know what you mean. I actually donated $10 to Cult County (it was all I could spare at the time) and I thought they would make the goal without too many problems. I guess Renegade Kid's name isn't known well enough. :(
