Sony and Microsoft make games for PC once in a while and they have mobile software too. Why can't Nintendo?
If more people were as negative as you the industry really would be in trouble.
If it's "ex-community manager" evidently they didn't let them get away with much.
If people support it then it will
Don't be so sore. You made a bad joke and people called you out on it. Better luck next time. ;)
In-game voice chat is not worth boycotting a game. Nintendo should incorporate a friend party chat system on Wii U instead.
I thought Famitsu was infamous for giving Sonic 06 a positive score. :U
Bubble for using a word as cool as symbiotic. :p
I think it's a new console but I think it's also a streaming hub like Playstation TV. Like, you can play its games on it but it will stream the Wii U, 3DS, Tablets, computers and your smartphone. I'm probably wrong since Nintendo is full of surprises but I think that's what it could be.
Nintendo can improve theyre just slow. Go from Brawl to Smash 4 and you can tell there were some significant improvements to the online.
Sony fans got a lot of it early on when the PS3 launched, so I feel you. Nintendo doesn't make many great decisions but I feel the Wii U gets a lot of undeserved hate, especially because the games I've played on it are really fun. IMO it did way more right than the Wii. :(
I'm not sure how talking about Mario is relevant when Nintendo shook it up this year. This year is seeing two Mario games which are just level makers. The rest of Nintendo's year is actually quite varied if you take the time to look at it. There isn't third party support but for PC and PS4 gamers who are looking for something different it's not a bad year for Wii U. It has a Nintendo exclusive Japanese horror game, a kid friendly shooter and two JRPGs. :p
Thank you for being here Cat and good luck in all your future endeavors. You're awesome! :)
I'm not sure what you mean. I read Jaffe's tweets and he clearly conveyed them as just his opinion and nothing else. As a follower of his twitter that's how I'm used to his tweets being so I don't see how you can claim he's doing anything different than conveying a passionate opinion same as Joe.
Technically Joe still can make those videos but is choosing not to because he will not make money from them. The only way he could is to either setup a contract dialogue with them like ProJared and GameXplain or register with the CCP. I personally feel that since his Wii U was donated to him he should still do Nintendo videos from time to time as a courtesy to his fans. This controversy just seems like we are treading old ground right now. I'm not sure I understand what Joe's angle wa...
People will get over the "copying" angle. :p I personally would love to own figures of some of Sony's characters.
Pretty sure they already do that with GameXplain and ProJared. :U
The problem is lawfully Let's Plays are not legally recognized as transformational pieces of fair use. In order to change that someone needs to take Nintendo to court and win the case otherwise they have the legal power here. According to the copyright laws and to YouTube's terms of service, it's their IP and therefor their right. It's also not a good business move on their part and I don't agree with it much anymore but the point is it is still their legal right.
I would not say so. Their presence will be smaller as a result though.
Or anything Dragon Ball related.
