Come on Johnny, what are we waiting for?! :D
Of course you can see the difference, provided you have the right kind of TV. Smaller screens won't really present a big difference between 720p and 1080p, but there is most certainly a difference between the two.
@MorePowerOfGreen
Cloud computing and DX12 will HELP Xbox One, but it will by no means "destroy" the PS4 as far as raw horsepower is concerned. I can see it narrowing or even closing the power gap between the two, but that's being generous.
The problem is Pachter is talking about tech that won't even have the potential to be the norm for at least another two generations. The tech is simply not there for streaming to be the norm right now.
It also goes without saying that the tech is just not there for game streaming to be the norm. Internet connections are not fast enough on a common basis and not all gamers want to just pay for the right to stream games. Some want to outright own the data of the software.
This made my head hurt.
Definitely. I'd actually really like to see him sit down with Iwata and have a chat about their companies and the industry as a whole.
Yoshida is definitely one of the best! He has a genuine interest in gaming and wants to not only create good business but great products. AND he likes seeing his competition succeed. Great guy. :)
Quality treatment of consumers. /s
If every game was released in an initially broken and buggy state, I doubt you would be saying that.
The game still has a number of issues that any other AAA game would have suffered massively on Metacritic for. I don't see why Battlefield got a free pass with gamers. EA basically forced everyone to pay $60 that would only function the way it was supposed to almost half a year after its launch.
Isn't that telling of how poorly publishers are handling games and treating consumers now? Heaven forbid they release a stellar and smoothly running game for $60 AT LAUNCH.
Being humble and kind to others is not sucking up. If he was getting buddy-buddy with people above him to get more control of his company or another entity then THAT would be sucking up. Yoshida is just a humble fellow who loves the game industry. That's how I see it anyway.
I get what you're saying, but I already bought the original so I've already supported Naughty Dog and I will support them again with Uncharted 4 and with their big project after that. Even Naughty Dog said that TLOU remastered is not a big project for them.
Gotta admit, the color is pretty dang close to Yoshi's natural green. I think it looks nice!
Those dang memory cards are the biggest problem. Price drops for the 32GB cards would be nice.
For $25 the PS3 might be the better value, but if you really want to play the game with the better visuals and have all the DLC included then PS4. It depends on what you value most in your purchase. Hope that helps. :)
I am seriously enticed to save up for all four at some point if I can.
Goes to Yoshida is more human than a lot of the fanboys out there. He's a man who loves the entire game industry, not just his own company's work.
PCs have actually had a solid market to work with for decades. What people don't consider is that all this time the PC games market has been coexisting and improving thanks to the existence of consoles and vice versa. More competition is more helpful, period.
