@Godmars290
Still have my Wii and my copy of Xenoblade. You're missing out. :D I certainly hope it's just Vita. That platform needs more games and I would hate to see RPGs come out less on PS4 because of one Vita title.
I have to agree. I thought their reactions were pretty genuine. If they were acting, it was pretty dang convincing.
That's pretty different. Isolation has a single alien, sure. But this alien is basically stalking you throughout the game and its appearances are supposed to be randomly generated. And it's a creature that sci-fi fans are familiar with, which can further add to the tension.
Did you ever consider the game would scare you more when you actually played it? It's a pretty different experience when you watch someone else do it for you. :/
Sad thing is a lot of the more extreme feminists out there seem to be constantly picking the wrong battles these days. I am a strong believer in equality for women and that includes equal representation, but a lot of the inflammatory rhetoric I see from them just comes off as insipid and spiteful. There's a time and place for social justice, but Anita and I guess her boyfriend as well are barking up the wrong tree.
I don't see why Microsoft would bother hyping the system up if it wasn't intended to work in some sort of capacity. I mean you could be right and it could wind up being crappy, but I'm reserving my judgement for when it's executed. If it sucks then at least we should see it suck before we go jumping to conclusions.
Definitely more than a gigabyte or two, that's for sure.
The point is GZ, as an overpriced one or two hour long experience, DID sell in spite of its price controversy. This is clearly a nickel and dime approach to games that I do not support, and it encourages publishers to basically cut off a portion of the game to sell for a large price later. Here's an extreme scenario: What is stopping from them forcing gamers to buy the end of MGSV instead of including it as part of the game? That's what games like GZ encourages.
Probably Konami more so than Kojima. They constantly make him do things he doesn't want to do. He's wanted to do non-Metal Gear stuff for a while and they won't let him off without getting someone else to do the new games.
The sad thing is that Dead Rising's prologue and epilogue DLC missions were priced much more fairly at $5 than GZ and GT. THAT should have been a trend, not overcharging the price of admission.
No one is questioning that GZ is a fun game, but it's also only an hour or two of fun content. And not everyone thinks that that is worth the $30. Especially when for only another $20 you could get the Legacy collection and basically, as you said, hundreds of hours worth of content and then some.
The Wii U gamepad kind of has some of the same features as a VR helmet when you think about it. It's just not a VR helmet. It's obviously not as immersive, so Nintendo may not really need to do it this generation. That being said if Wii U gets more shooter games, I would like to use a VR setup and see how it does.
That makes sense. Supposedly the cloud servers are supposed to make online multiplayer a much more fluent experience, whenever the heck Microsoft actually decides to use the thing. And it's telling given how Microsoft's must have exclusive is Titanfall and Sony's must have is InFamous Second Son, with more single player games like Order on the way.
The problem is XB1 would be sold at a pretty big loss if they were still manufacturing Kinects with the system and selling them $100 cheaper. They should put Kinect on a limited manufacture list and sell them separately for people who want them. That way they can sell the system, maybe even bundled with a game much cheaper.
I believe you can see the display models on the main website. Or is that 2D artwork? I'd have to double check.
I hear ya, but I really like the bright colors in the new game. they suit Mario and Luigi a lot more than the washed out look Brawl had.
Yeah, odd they didn't show him. :[
Dang, hefty price but it's hard to say the package isn't worth it.
I'm pretty sure that this is confirmed to be a new installment and not a remake.
Hear, hear! This game is going to have a lot of longevity, I think. :)
