I think a lot of Xbox and Playstation gamers share more interests than they themselves even realize. And as The realness says, there are plenty of Xbox gamers who have played JRPGs in their lifetimes who are probably more than a little interested in KHIII. The game will probably not sell as much on PS4, but why not make the extra buck off of that other viable market?
If Sora looks the way he did in the original KHIII trailer, probably not very many years at all. He doesn't seem that much older, which is fine by me. I'd be sad if I played a new KH and Sora looked and acted totally different.
If Microsoft made it exclusive then people would just get upset and outraged. Look no further than how people treated Nintendo with Bayonetta 2. That HAD to be exclusive or the sequel would never exist and people crapped all over Nintendo (and oddly not Sega) anyway..
At the very most, I think the Xbox One version may have the usual lower resolution. I don't think there will be any drastic differences between the two since their architecture is similar.
They kind of toned it down a little in Dream Drop Distance I think. It was a lot less confusing than KHII or 358/2 Days were.
I'm surprised they've never explicitly done anything with the forerunners save for Halo Legends. I absolutely agree, they should explore that story.
Yeah, unfortunately there is a lot of canon to consider when writing Master Chief into new storylines, so they need to approach it carefully or they could write inconsistencies into the timeline.

Not entirely true. Women are not often granted equal pay but are often treated differently depending upon the career or incident. When also considering the conditions women are put through in African, Middle Eastern and other less developed countries, the difference is pretty telling. In first world nations, it's much closer to what we perceive as equality but we're not 100% there just yet, I think. Politics is a touchy subject to begin with, so I won't get too far into that.

I think it's only because he said something involving Iwata being fired, which for some reason people believe will suddenly cause everything at Nintendo to drastically change for the better. No one considers Iwata's replacement could be much worse.

You're also leaving out the DS and 3DS. That's three consecutive money making successes in a row. Those were not all flukes. They were smart ideas that were marketed by smart people. All of which were headed with Iwata as president. Should Yoshida be fired because the Vita isn't selling well in the west? I think absolutely not.

Have you ever considered that blindly replacing Iwata could potentially lead to someone worse than Iwata leading the company? Decisions like these need to be carefully calculated and considered and not done on a whim to satisfy shareholders or spiteful fanboys.

For half the price of a full retail game, that doesn't cut it, that is pandering and it is expected for any game, not just a 2 hour prologue/demo. Furthermore, who are you to determine who the real fans are? I've been a fan of the serie...
They have full item customization for friend races if I'm not mistaken. That's a pretty welcome feature. :)

That's pretty awesome, I think. A lot of gamers, Xbox fans or otherwise, came together so loudly and aggressively that it forced Microsoft to back down on a lot of bad ideas. That's pretty awesome and I wish we could see that kind of intelligent togetherness in game fanbases more often.
