Liking a game and being spitefully hateful are two different things and your comment was most certainly the latter.
I think pwnsauce is right. This will probably be exclusive Xbox One content or nonexistent. No way Microsoft would allow this design on PS4 and Microsoft owns the rights to the Halo property, not Bungie.
@MorePowerOfGreen
Whoa, I'm not saying any of that at all. I think the XB1's power is unfairly criticized as well as unfairly praised. It's good hardware, but to say that cloud computing will suddenly jump start its performance to leaps and bounds ahead of PS4 seems pretty preemptive when we have seen no demonstration of it in action. The Trials fiasco is something I DEFENDED Microsoft on because that was a result of poor development with a simpler game.
I like what the big three to be honest. This is good for those who are into the Google OS, but I don't think that makes up a lot of core gamers. The experience seems pretty different if you ask me.
I know it's not really selling well, but Wii U is technically the third or (chronologically) the first gaming console of this generation.
But why would anyone get this when they can play most if not all of the same apps and games, if not more, on their phone or tablet? It just seems like the market is overflowing with these devices.
Android gaming devices are far too common. You can play games on games and tablets. Why would I get a TV console to play those games when I have my phone AND my PS3?
Agreed. Online multiplayer is too random and sparse for achievements to be adequately obtained unless they are very easy. The other problem is if the game's servers get shutdown then those achievements are gone forever.
I should definitely do that for when I play the game for the first time. Except for Deadpool. That game used the Achievements as one of its many fourth wall breaking jokes.
But the thing is you can ignore those trophies and simply come back to them when you've completed the game and already played it your way. If NES games had achievements, I think players would be more welcoming to the concept today because any smart gamer can do a ton of things with even the most limited game.
Yeah, I've mostly neglected my trophies and have just earned them as I played my games. Providing something that's completely optional is never a bad thing. The only bad ones are the ones that are glitched or are somehow now unattainable.
Not to mention some of the most innovative and iconic Nintendo games of the time. Mario 64, Star Fox 64 and OoT? Masterpieces.
Having less shovelware seems to be one of the few upsides to not being the hottest seller.
You could never fit all of that into one clear picture! :P
It's imbalanced as heck, but it's also crazy fun. 64 is a great party game, I think whereas its followups serve as better fighting games. Either way, the Smash series is fantastic. :)
Sakurai's had a lot of experience with the Smash Bros. style. I loved PSASBR, but the devs were clearly very inexperienced when they made it (mandatory super move KOs was a bad idea). Anyway, Smash isn't out and no sequel to PSASBR has been announced. Let's keep the fan wars to a minimum.
lol Brilliant. On a serious note, I really like Link's progression as well as Mario's. :)
Yikes, I think these will actually be pretty expensive considering how historical they are. Unless you specifically want one of these landfill carts I would try to find an independent game shop that sells old games. You might get a reasonably priced copy of ET there.
They should throw Superman 64 in there. Seriously.
That seems like the most likely outcome. PS4 is supposed to be the lead platform with the most content, but I'd be surprised if Xbox One didn't get some exclusive content to create incentive for that platform.
