I think everyone knows BF4 had bugs because it was rushed and not because it was tough to develop. It's good to own up to your mistake, but...

I think Ubisoft is emulating summer blockbuster movies. A lo of those have the kind of douchey suave guy you're talking about. I think Jason Statham counts for that Can we have an action shooter starring Jason Statham?
That game broke a lot of "rules" with conventional shooters, mostly due to how psychotic it all was. Far Cry 4 will probably push that same envelope forward. I just have they have another Blood Dragon-type expansion with the new game as well. :)
The only ones who said indies are all trash were disgruntled Xbox fanboys. But plenty are coming around now that Microsoft is pushing some indie initiative, which is good because more exposure for indies means they can gain more success.
Agreed on both accounts. If the game isn't out yet, I don't see why they can't refund it or at least give $10 credit to those who paid $60.
^This. Consoles at launch are never as appealing as they are later on. That's just how it teds to be. And it's only going to get better from her on out and PS4 is killing it right now in sales. I don't think people will give up on the latest generation.
Buying Capcom also means buying whatever their financial troubles may be. It would be nice to see their franchises get redistributed to various other publishers though.
Unfortunately whether a game is a classic or mediocre is subjective. They have to price them all the same or other publishrs won't bother to work with them.
I feel like it happens significantly less in MK8 than in MK7. The blue shell is also a little less devastating since the stun time is lower. It's still a terrible threat, but I think it's easier to come back from being struck by one.

I like the varied use of styles in the game. Link looks like Skyward Sword Link, Zelda looks like her Ocarina of Time incarnation, Midna is in the game and so is the freaking moon (super scary looking by the way). All that's missing is some Wind Waker stuff.

Writing off a game because it's not on my console would just make me a fanboy. It's a silly fanboy argument and a cheap way to dance around not being able to get the game on my console of choice. No Man's Sky looked brilliant even before I knew it was a Sony exclusive and even then I hope this is true and Xbox gamers get to experience it as well.
Anyone with a genuine joy for video games care about at least a few indie titles, I think.

Fidelity and resolution are factors in the game's performance. Personally I would like the game to run at 60fps and then base the visuals around that performance.
Game's with full on dating/life sims probably should. It shouldn't be forced into everything, but in context why not? There's gay marriage in real life, so why not video games with a focus on marriage? As long as it's just optional I don't see any problems with it.
