I would rather not see that happen as the default, but I hope they at least allow motion controls an option for those who prefer Skyward Sword's setup.
The Hyrule Historia manga contains a story about the very first Link and that is the only known prequel to Skyward Sword. Foxtrot and I had a bit of a debate about its validity some time ago. They can do a number of things with this new game, but my guess is it may take place in the Adult Timeline after Ocarina of Time because Link's clothes are similar to Wind Waker Link's and because of the emphasis on an open world.
@wonderfulmonkeyman I know right? Sign me up! :D
@TheFreshestLlama Er, don't you think $250 is a bit much? Nintendo isn't charging extra for Bayonetta 1.
Shift in development for newer games, most likely. Or perhaps DLC like what Warner Bros. did. Either way, it probably won't be a very good excuse at all.
*raises hand* I think indies are great for either platform. If anything, at least now Xbox fans are becoming vocal about how good indies are, even if some of them were writing off the games as sub par or irrelevant. The more support, the better if you ask me.
Not my favorite food place, but I totally respect giving to charity.
I forgot to mention that that was my only real criticism was the caps. Other than that it's a fine blog, even if I don't quite agree with it. Honestly, I don't think Nintendo should buy Capcom but buying some of their IPs is a pretty good idea. I can see Nintendo doing a lot with Mega Man. I'm not so sure about some of the more mature franchises, but I think Nintendo recognizes that those games are too successful to ignore. For a while DonDon's criticisms were somewhat on ...
To be fair, asking for a unified account system is not an unfair criticism of the Wii U. Anyone without access to Club Nintendo is basically SOL right now.
Bring me too! :D
Yeah, sorry about that wonderfulmonkeyman. Probably should have replied to him in a PM if at all. On point with your topic, I'm not sure that I agree with the whole "Yeah, who needs ya" way of thinking with third parties. I feel that Nintendo should not burn bridges and should instead work with third parties to achieve a way to make marketable games for Wii U with the gamepad. One of Wii U's weaknesses is its third party support. The only publisher I personally have no issue...
I was thinking the same thing. With No More Heroes' popularity, it would be silly not to make it happen. Maybe even make it a collection with the earlier games like Bayonetta.
Cortana added a more lighthearted energy to the Halo universe. Maybe the choice to have this AI sound monotone is to establish a more somber universe. I have yet to play the alpha, so I can't say for certain, but that would be my guess.
I very much agree. More games, particularly through partnerships and indie support, might just be Nintendo's best bet.
If he said this a year ago, I wouldn't have believed him. But I think Wii U is seeing a bit of a turnaround.
That would be cool. Being able to choose the different tunics for Link would be a nice start.
Ha! That's an excellent nickname for it. Gotta admit that that grass sure looked purdy. :P
I agree. Remakes are of greater value and remake collections would be even more so.
Yikes. If misinformation was common with them, it's probably better that they're banned.
Yup. People want the Wii U upgrade though. Plus you save a little more money if you get them on Wii U without having gotten them in Wii mode first.
Sure, sometimes it leads to some absurdities, but what's wrong with fan discussion as a whole? It's a lot of fun to talk about potential storylines and outcomes with new games.
