I feel for the man, but that's actually kind of funny. XD I guess it's like how Gabe Newell gets memes tossed his way a lot.
@DonDon Oh okay then. Believe what you want to believe, I guess. Thanks for not providing evidence to the claims like I asked for.
I think a Mario Master Plumber Collection is in order here. :P HD renditions of Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy and Galaxy 2. All in time for the next big Mario game.
The lack of first party support is disappointing, but it has much more support in Japan where it is also selling quite well.
But the Hylians all seem to share a number of those traits. Most notably the long, pointy ears. I mean, look at these two.

Link doesn't look a thing like these dudes. If anything, you could argue he is a relative of Zelda if not for the romantic undertones.
Actually I don't defend Iwata out of any sort of loyalty. I just think the man deserves the same respect that I also give to Yoshida. In spite of the mistakes he has made, he is making lemonade and actively helping Wii U (a console I now like) gain more momentum. Also, we are not even remotely alike as none of my comments of praise have been psychotic tirades about how much I hate the man for his work in creating video games and consoles. In fact, I don't see how my praise is even rem...
My mistake, I should have said that Link has androgynous features. Since Ocarina of Time he has been designed with effeminate eyes, a fair face and longer than average hair. He is of course objectively a male character, but his features are not entirely masculine. He's not very muscular. This is probably because the team that made him is Japanese and they just design some of their characters that way. But honestly I think it was just to make Link feel a little more gender neutral in appea...
He never stated that explicitly, although he did say to tell Nintendo to make it happen.
A preview I read suggested that the Wii U version of Bayonetta 1 is supposed to be a rock solid port of the 360 version. In other words, expect them to be on the same ball park in performance. Bayonetta 2 will be a big improvement though.
Nintendo didn't really "ditch" E3. Their approach was just unusual. In fact, they arguably had more presence after conference day was over since they were live streaming their games to everyone and advertising said stream.
edit: Just to add, I'm not against Sony trying the same approach, or even both traditional and digital conferences.
That's too bad. I thought WWHD was amazing, and according to my friends the old GCN version had some glaring flaws in it, most notably the Triforce quest.
I could see Nintendo utilizing one of their smaller teams to bring out one HD remaster every couple of years or so. F-Zero GX is long overdue for a remake/sequel with online multiplayer.
Again, it's free DLC. You're not even forced to download it, let alone use it. If you don't like the vehicle then just ignore it. I still don't see how it's worth a fuss.
Nobody is saying graphics don't matter, only that gameplay takes precedence. Yes, both are indeed necessary, but visuals should never be the reason for hampered gameplay.
Can't people engage in both?
They're focusing resources on Playstation right now. I have the game on PC, but I want a console variant, so I might double dip on Wii U and/or Vita.
There's potential for PS4/Vita combo if they opt to create dual screen-centric updates.
@slivery This is a lot of news to me. I had never heard of Reggie proactively trying NOT to allow a game be localized in the west. The quote you showed doesn't necessarily mean Nintendo ignores their fans, it only means that they hear fans but don't always consider taking the feedback into account. Anyway, feel free to PM me the links to clarify those quotes. I've never heard of any of that stuff happening and it's very unfortunate if true.
He's also very crude and condescending toward people who disagree with him. Normally I don't care to bring it up, but I am dumbfounded that he has six bubbles with all the disagrees he gets.
PS4 Ridge Racer would be glorious for sure. I want to see a Sony executive bring that one back to a future E3. :)
