Yeah, but there have been two posts about that already. I want to hear the news that a N64 game is hitting VC with a release date. :/
The combat in the first game was only fun when you were knocking enemies off of buildings. The gun parts weren't as fun as that or the parkour. Not sure what you mean by a giant QTE though.
Yup. I would never expect EA to do anything so generous.
Dang, that figure is, dare I say... solid.
I lost it when Aonuma said that you could travel to the mountains in the background. Can't wait to see more of the game in action. :)
Why yes. The game looks fun and gorgeous.
Same here. I'm not going to pretend Sunset Overdrive doesn't look awesome just because it's on Xbox. Though I admit I'm a little bias because I don't have any predispositions against the Xbox brand as of late. Still though, I wish Insomniac all the best of luck in the world. They brought me a ton of joy through Ratchet & Clank and I want to see them continue to succeed no matter what platform they develop games on.
On the one hand, it's strange to see a decade long Xbox developer now putting forth a lot of energy into Playstation. On the other, it's non-exclusive so everyone wins on this deal anyway. It's not like us Sony fans get to play Sunset Overdrive on PS4. Xbox fans have got it easy! :P
Off-topic edit: Just so you know Foxtrot, I unblocked you on account I realized you weren't trolling and figured out how to remove someone from the block list. My bad man. Truce?
I think Bunge is just trying to maintain good relations with fans now that they are a multiplatform developer.
It is important to treat your customers well and not try to nickel and dime them, but in the end you are right. Companies are indeed in it for the money and blind fan loyalty to the point of bitterness is silly.
I don't understand the fuss. Bungie is still making Destiny for Xbox platforms but just signed a deal for some exclusive content for Playstation. As was stated before, what about Sony fans who can't play Sunset Overdrive? It's a silly thing to complain about.
That's... unexpected. Never thought this would happen for anything Xbox related in Japan. But I think time will tell if this is a sign of things to come or if this burst of interest in Japan is short lived. I honestly don't expect Xbox One sales to be this high in Japan for the duration of its lifetime.
@whothedog I think people have valid reason to be concerned but mostly because the developer has claimed that the game is running at 30fps instead of 60fps for aesthetic appeal and not because they can't physically run it at 60. That being said I personally think the game looks great and expect to see a lot of naysayers eat their words when it turns out that the cinematic nature of this game is akin to TLOU.
It should be free for anyone who bought BF4, especially when it launched. It will never happen but I feel that's what should happen.
I'm not saying I'm upset. I'm surprised they omitted it entirely when they had it for several games now.
So excited! What a cute looking game. :)
Hear, hear. They've yet to physically compensate BF4 fans as far as I hear. Hardline looks great, but I'm approaching it cautiously because of how poorly they handled BF4.
Quite! It's a step closer to looking photorealistic.
^This. Forcing it in for the sake of is not great, but in context it certainly can make the game more accessible. I think a good example is Saints Row because they let you make your character, then in II and onward they let you customize a woman character and it still fit just fine.
Yeah, but that mostly applies to newer games, not older digital releases. The only sales or discounts on those that I've seen in recent memory is when Nintendo and Sony impose them on their own classic titles.
