I think you're exaggerating a little bit. Few people are that delusional. The only people I've seen repeat that sort of nonsense is the usual Xbox trolls, and they don't really represent Xbox fans as a whole. Whatever DX12 does for XB1 will be helpful at best and insignificant at worst and the generation will continue on as usual.
He's coming off a little strong, but I guess that's his job at the end of the day. I don't think Kinect will sell a lot by any means, but I don't see it being a massive failure either.
I actually agree with you there. The original Kinect sold a lot, so the separated Kinect will probably sell a modest amount, particularly to any families that like Dance Central and that upcoming Fantasia game.

Wow. All of the games are getting remastered. I wasn't incorrect about that. Halo 2 is getting remade visuals but the others are also getting the same remastered treatment as TLOU. In fact Halo Anniversary was already a remake of Halo Combat Evolved. I can't believe you guys got all up in arms because I referred to the games in the collection as remastered when they are all being, you know, remastered. :/
I don't disagree that it is indeed a remaster. I like that it is remastered. I think what people misunderstood is not the game itself but the label. I never see any controversies about GOTY editions, so if they had named this game as such I don't think there would be as much debate about it.
Nobody complains when it is called GOTY Edition. I don't think anyone would have complained if they had done the same thing here, even with the remastered visuals. I personally used to be bothered by remasters, but knowing it comes with all of the DLC changed my mind on it. If they had called it GOTY Edition I don't think there would be as much debate about whether it's good or bad.
Gotta agree here. Since I started commenting on N4G I've been called every fanboy name thus far. I've been called a Sony fanboy, an Xbox fanboy, a traitor to Sony fans, a Nintendo fanboy, you name it. Doesn't mean I'll stop loving games. Though I can see why this would cause someone to lose pride in the gaming community. Some gamers on the internet make it hard to want to share your experiences with others online.
I get what you're saying. Internet anonymity makes creating a truly civil community environment especially challenging. There are steps communities can take to having those civil steps taken but it would require people to look down on trolls and cynics who relentlessly attack others and on sites like these the very opposite tends to happen.
I would agree with this if not for Square seemingly leaving a lot of fans in the dust with watered down FF experiences and using classic franchises to create pay to wait/win mobile games. They are a company whose job it is to make money but the consumers can also express dissatisfaction with their products and how they go about their business.

Yeah! They said they want to do 3D and 2D Metroid games in the future. Hopefully they deliver on that soon.
Quite a cynical article, but I have to agree with its number one. EA's show was by far the weakest one.
I have played chunks of Lost World and want to get my own copy now that I have a Wii U. It's a very good game, but suffers from some poor level design and some minor glitches here and there. Other than that it's a very colorful and fast paced game that could use some tweaking and polish at the very least.
It's a new IP and a pretty new take on FPS games at that!
To be fair, would you want some of the games they have put out? Their only classic FF style game forces you to pay real money to use characters that have fallen and even some moves. Pay to wait games suck.
This isn't news. Every major company starts work on the next console after the last one is done. This has been going on for literally generations.
