"Doesn't mean the hardcore market is dying, it's just that the casual market is blossoming more than it Used to."
Look at the shift from Gamecube to Wii. >_>
I find it ironic that the whole definition of DLC is Downloadable Content and it being on a disc.
If it's on the disc, then it's not exactly downloadable is it?
@Yi-Long
This is exactly what I mean, you say why should you learn the new languages, and then force others to do it for you.
It's 2011 like you said. Just as companies from your standard to include the original language, it's JUST as easy for people to learn multiple languages in their off time. If one is determined to listen to things in their native language, the learn a few things. Don't just sit there and say that you should hear their voice...
"Sorry but in this case, Microsoft is completely right."
You mean snuffing out potential games because they only want to be under their name? That hurts the industry more than helps it.
MS isn't exactly completely right in this situation. I can understand it being XBLA and having it under their name, but this makes it 2x harder for indie devs to publish their games.
People comment on them saying that MS helps more indie devs th...
@Yi-Long
The funny thing though is that people did the same with Demon's Souls, but that was in English with other sub-titles, but it was a Japanese made game.
What I usually do with the point coming across, is that if you want things in their original format, then learn them. Don't force that will onto others when you can make it better for yourself.
One problem with your argument Cloud is licensing. Just because they can do it in one region does NOT automatically they can just issue it within another.
The other problem is that you're preaching as if everything English does is bad. In this situation, if you feel it's that bad, then just import it. People make menu guides, and it's NOT hard to play. People love to play not only visually, but audio wise as well. People would like to actually see what's happe...
I dunno why you're getting massive disagrees for this situation, but honestly it's true. People went with the thought of "Either wait for them to send it back, or just buy a new one"
It's no joke either. I've seen people just use their money like that from a LOT of customers when first batches come out for a new system. -_-
And issues are common to happen on the first batch of systems. The dead pixels and easily cracked hinges comes...
@AntiHeroComplex
That makes it even more sad that they would go to these lengths to not support in the right context.
You talk of Thom acting as if he talks nonsense, but in an ironic situation you failed to realize that they can use this in effective terms than donating to a random person that they don't even know the true intent of, and for the fact that they "apparently" have so much hate that they'll throw money left and right.

"No it cant, the psp doesnt't have anywhere near the power to emulate ps1...."
*facepalm*
If only you knew how wrong your statement was here. You should look around the back-end places on this thing.
I laughed at Crysis 2 having a sustained community. It'll drop as soon as the next CoD game is out. -_-
It doesn't, but it's unfortunate that for 1 person that does it without wanting to hurt, there's 100+ others that look for malicious means and for themselves.
"Only, a mentally slow individual ever catches a virus. "
You have no idea how wrong your statement is.
To be honest I don't know if that would be feasibly possible at this point in time. :p
"Obviously, the core gameplay mechanics won't change, so it's moronic for gamers to (constantly) complain about them not changing. "
But that requires thinking, which most public don't like to do. :p
"People would use each others PS3 power when the systems were not in use so every PS3 was part of a super computer network.."
You mean Folding @ Home?
Apparently the first socoms were bad then..
You know zipper made those too right?
" you can now code freely and make more of "these projects" without asking for permission from your sony overlords, tool."
OK! Don't mind me if I just take the usage of their own data without their permission.....
@ElementX
Yea my whole time taking 5 years of the language means I haven't learned a single thing....

"And isn't there maps and such to games that are free on PC yet have to be bought on XBL? Why should this be any different? "
Because people need to question it. You give companies an inch and they'll way more than likely take a mile.
@Green
A swing and a complete let go on your part.
What I'm going after is that they denied them service because they didn't go to MS FIRST, considering one is already released for PC and Mac.
" If microsoft hat indie devs then why are they promoting them 1000 times more than SOny or Nintendo? "
Because they get money. It's not rocket science. They go "We have it only here", and then cash the c...
