What if your car had only a 100 usage limit on being able to start up?

DRM always works in a good way, via Steam. But some companies think they should just take it only into their hands, and go off on a way that's more damaging to legit consumers than being helpful.

@RedDragan

And what would happen when there's a HUGE mess-up?

Remember the Assassin's Creed situation where legit users were screwed out for a few days while people that used a crack for the DRM were able to play?

The only situation I would see it being DLC is if it was free. If we have to pay $60 for close to 6 hour gameplay, that's a worse of a price ratio than going to the movies, if we had to pay for MP on top of it.

"Bulletstorm is awesome"

You mean the fact that the AI is more annoying than strategic?

Or the ending to the game where it felt like you accomplished nothing and was just a copt out for a sequel.

Or the dialogue where it was slightly amusing at first, but then it showed being way more immature than it needed to be.

Or the MP portion of it feeling off with matchmaking issues.

Or that outside of the ...

@Alpha-Male22

They did, but this means people need to watch what they do, not run around with their head cut off like a chicken. Plus the drawback with the proxy is that it takes you a little while to set up. You can't just drop and go in CoD.

Plus a nice bit of trivia for the original poster of this all.....Proxys existed before CoD >_>

It really doesn't do it justice.

Also yes there is an open beta out 2 weeks from now for the public, or one on Tues if you want to look at it like this:

22nd - PSN+ Users
29th - Killzone 3 code users
April 5th - Everyone else.

@Blad3star

Look at the demographic that plays it then look at the demographic for the system.

Just because they were able to get away with it to one group does not mean they can get away with it to another.

@Tachyon_Nova

True. Basically it's an annoyance how they set 1 thing in there that can prevent you from 100% a game for literally half a year.

Wow you completely missed the point..... It's ironic in the sense that you said I was ignorant.

What the hell happened to being concern about gameplay?

5446d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's more stupid than funny:

Remember Brother In Arms: Hell's Highway?

You couldn't 100% unless you played it on September 17th.

They were SUPPOSE to ship the games before that date, but because of issues, they shipped out on the 23th, basically a week after the initial date. So it was impossible to get 100% legit until a year later.

Do you know how irritating it is to not fully complete something because of time?...

"If this is the same as previous games it'll be much harder for this generation to accept then say someone in the 90's"

Which can be bad thing unfortunately. Some of the best ideas and functionalities came from around that time, and this generation of people are just going to shun it for being "outdated", instead of appreciating where gaming came from.

The thing is, Wizardy games are very math heavy as well, and a huge portion of t...

This is what I find really disturbing:

The fact that it's an "absolute" or not decision is just stupid. And what gets me is that we don't even know if it's just 2-3 moderators that deal with this, or a group of 10. In honesty I doubt it's that many that do a "voting system" in the first place.

What the hell happened to warnings for that matter too?

"Why does it bother you? You'll have more people to play with."

You ever get the idea that they can grief you in any way possible and have no worries about the value of a game.

Here's an example: There's a person that bought a tactical teamwork game, and another downloaded it for s&g, the one that downloaded is more than likely to not really care about the actual value of the teamwork, while the paying customer have to suffer for the...

"Also, I admit I don't know much about P.C. gaming online, but I hear a lot of it only offers text based chat ect."

Who the hell told you that? :p
The whole idea of cross-gaming type voip originated with PC gaming anyways, since the evolution of teamspeak, ventrilo, etc.

Plus there's a multitude of games that include voip style communications within the game.

It's better for you to mention that you enjoy said pla...

Yea CoD4 was an improvement. However anything after that and they REALLY tried to cash in on the series.

As far as things are it just seems like the series, for at least the most part, is becoming uninteresting again. =\

"People say they're getting sick of it, but the sales say something different," he said. "COD is on its, what, seventh iteration of the modern army game now? Battlefield's been doing it for a long time." "

That's because BF changes it stuff up, and it involves team work. CoD is because you have more so of the jerks that want to go rambo style. People don't want another CoD over-saturation, some people want innovation.
