Well the thing is, if anything from what I learned from browsing N4G, is that a good amount of people takes words out of context, or clearly instigating words, just to build up enough hits to view it.

It's still an indie studio. Just because a big group PUBLISHES your stuff doesn't mean you aren't categorized in that situation. Why do you think there's first party studios, third party studios, etc.
The title is still considered Independent, not to mention it's a successor off a flash b...

Actually I kinda doubt that. They push pre-orders hard given on any game, and even if they get a person that goes into the store to get a game, that's still potential income for them.

I can tell you how much of a troubling time they tell us about these things, when they make some silly choices about how things work.

GS already has trouble enough trying to do sales, so how are they going to offer games though their PC component, when Steam has at least double their library, able to connect with friends, etc.
Plus the fact that you can use any weapon in the game that you want, as they aren't tied to characters anymore in a way (however each character have masteries of weapons more than others), along with online co-op in Conquest mode.

You realize that they just have as much of a capability to change on the game as much as any other genre. Remember blitz for example? You can turn it around into an arcade game. If they can do that, you can't just say that as an excuse.
