Ehm. What technical issues? The game got heavily criticized for pop in and for having some pockets of Worse fps in the later game area. All things that You can find in every game out there, not Just open world games, and things that never gets held up as this problematic.

Pacing is about story/structure of the gameplay loop or progression. And it is in my opinion Days Gone strongest aspect. So if you wanna claim that days gone got rightfu...

Some of the most human and realistic characters in a video game and you found them unbeliveable. Please explain.

Because to me this was clearly an attempt and creating characters with believable flaws.

Pacing was of? I might be Quick to assume, but does that mean you thought the game was too slow?

Because traditionally Pacing is meant to describe someone that knows When to slow down. When someone critisize Pacing it is usually a lack thereof that is being mentioned.

Imo yes. It is possibly game of the year for 2019 for me. Still a few I havent grotten to, like control, but do far it was my favorite experience last year.

Reviews made it out to be below average to average. It exceeded my expectations. Though all this talk about the game being so average did temper them a bit beforehand, so I guess the game had that going for it.

@TheRealTedCruz

The game got overly critisized for issues that is common place in open world games and it made it seems like the game had much more technical issues than it really did.

Examples is that many reviews would claim the game had a bad Presentation because of pop in. But everyone that plays games with above average viewing distamce (i. E. Every open world game out there) knows this is simply a compromise that exists. Such criticism made it seem ...

The irony of calling someone else out for not reading the article, when you clearly did not read it yourself?

The article is using quotes of the interview in snippets the context around each snippet is then delivered from the writer. You can claim that he is lying, but the article lists it as being a direct comparison to DS4, not the Xbox One controller.

"Rubio adds comparing it with the DualShock 4 “Those little innovations, all those tweaks, makes...

Well that is not going to happen. It is being published by Microids which is a pretty minor french publisher. Moslty known for some decent quality adventuer titles. Like Syberia.

That being said. I actually think something more a kin to a classic adventure game would make more sense for Tintin than a game with too much focus on action. It would just not feel like Tintin if you go around beating up enemies all the time.

I think that is a bit of a paradoxical argument.

Rdr 2 f. Ex. Was famously less dense than most open world games.

Honestly i think most games are way too "dense". So afraid to let the world breathe they have to cram something in every nook and cranny of the world.

Dense to me is like ac unity where every inch of the map is covered in icons denoting generic points of interest.

In my opinion games are way too...

Nah. There are plenty Who did not get pulled in by the unrealistic hype surrounding the game and found the experience enjoyable.

I was merely disputing the idea that n4g only hates on sea og thieves and not No mans sky. As i am pretty sure there are more articles and discussions about the failure of No mans sky than there are about sea of thieves.

Lol the No man's sky hate is plentiful on n4g. Imo much more so than sea of thieves hate.

@TK-66

No one here seems to have insinuated that Dual Shock was the first playstatio controller. The point being made was that it is the original dual stick controller. Before it was a thing. Before Xbox even existed.

People also often likes to point to the N64 controller for starting the trend of using analog sticks. But then again, even Nintendo copied the Dual Shocks Design in subsequent iterations.

This whole thing reminds me of t...

if you have a fancy new tv then your tv should have pass through. It might only support passing through compressed 5.1 signals though. At least that is the issue I have.

You do realize that most developers are now working from home and all the work left is probably taking more time than they expected it to.

Yea you are one of those that think datamanagement only affects loading. That is denial or ignorrance my friend.

Please explain how games looks better and preform better as a generation moves on.

Or how about real world examples of how the change from hdd to ssd with a mere sata connection made big strides.
Like f. Ex. Assassins creed Brotherhood on pc that all of a sudden could let you run your horse faster within rome if you had an ssd.

Yea. Cause modern warfare 2s mediocre campaign is what everyone has to replay right now. I dont see how this is a big deal at all.

There is No mutual exclusivity between the expression paradigm shift and the percieved impact of a paradigm shift.

ND has been optimizing their datamanagement on low level APIs within the ps4 architecture they, Sony Santa Monica and Guerilla are basically playstation specialists at this point.

That is not to say they couldnt, but it is not as easy to say they would automatically do it if they spent the same amount of time on developing a multiplatform title.

Well that is actually not entirely true. He kills because he is manipulated into slavery of the gods. Even with him killing Ares as revenge for Ares tricking him into killing his own family he does so on the behest of Athena. And then in gow 3 When he goes on a god murdering sprer he does so as Gaia's chosen tool.

He is the perfect tool for them because he has nothing left to live for. The point of God og War 1 is that he has so much remorse for what he has done that he...
