I don't think it's as big a deal for an indie to be released later on a platform compared to a retail game. Think about it. Retail games that release later have to justify the $60 price point, and it's harder to do that when the game is older and more likely cheaper on the competitors platform. So one way to justify the price is to add more content, which makes sense. Most indie games are $10 to $15, which is an easier price point to justify for a gam...
If Microsoft has no parity clause, or if it's as simple as "talking to them" to circumvent the clause, then why have it in the first place? They said it's not for quality control, so what's it for, just for the developer to initiate communication? Clearly something is not working if there are a lot of indie developers not planning on bringing their games to Xbox One. If Microsoft wants more indie games on their platform, then something needs to change. Whether is getting...

Perhaps you didn't read the part of my comment that said it took about 2 years for them to start releasing those types of games on a steady basis. The games you listed were released after the 2 year mark, which strengthens my point of being patient. By the time they were releasing AAA games, the game library for PS3 was huge. I'm not sure why people cannot understand that, and seem to always make comparisons without taking that into consideration.
@ lelo2play
It's amazing reading people complain about PS+, especially when they try and compare it to how it was for the PS3, complaining about the lack of AAA retail games and what not. It tells me one of two things: either they never had the service and are just talking out their asses, or they had the service and don't know what the hell they are talking about... Either way, just complaining for the sake of complaining.
PS+ released June 2010 (alm...

But the Xbox One is the weaker console AND harder to get the most out of. Not exactly the same situation as a console that is stronger BUT harder to get the most out of.
If you want to talk about people ignoring the past, why don't you talk about Xbox fanatics ignoring the fact they used to make a much bigger deal about much smaller differences last gen.
@ rookie_monster
Speaking of AAA exclusives, when was the last one released on Xbox One? Five months ago? When is the next one? October? That's almost a year apart, not to mention both are Halo games (nice variety /s).
It's ok though. It's quite obvious that Xbox gamers have denounced the Gregorian calendar and adopted the exclusive Microsoft calendar, in which a year consists of only 3 months.
@ moldiver
When you use terms like "...when it does work", it doesn't sound too promising. It makes it sound like it doesn't work almost as much as it does, which is a bad thing. If something works as it should, there is no need for such a disclaimer as "when it does work".
@ ziggurcat
Pretty witty comment, although I'm sure some people won't appreciate it. I think you know why.
Different lore.
Different gameplay mechanics.
Different series.
You've either never played a Souls game or Bloodborne, because they are not the same, other than both being difficult.
The more a console sells the more developers are likely to make games for it. The more games available, the better for us gamers. Simple concept.
Not only does your grammar suck, but your attempt at a "trivia" is laughable since your information is incorrect.

One 1080p 60fps game my ass.
@ madworldps4
Thanks for telling why I bought a PS4. Also, I wholeheartedly agree that game releases should be based solely on your preference.
P.S. /s
You couldn't go without Gears, Halo, and Forza because those are the only franchises Xbox has. Nice try though.
@pontiac
Titanfall (86) came out in March, FH 2 (86) came out in September (5 month gap), sunset overdrive (81) came out in October, Halo TMCC (85) came out in November, and finally Screamride (71) in March, no other retail exclusives until Halo 5 in October (6 month gap), then Forza 6 (most likely November).
Infamous SS (80) came out in March, followed by MLB 14 (83) in April, TLoU Re (95) came out in July, Driveclub (71) came out in October, and LBP 3 (79) ...
Some people may think the file size is a bad thing. A current gen title being under 2GB could mean it either doesn't have much content, or the assets are low quality.
@ wonderfulmonkeyman
The same could be said with any console. The difference is (relative to the WiiU) with a PS4, a PC isn't required to play 3rd party games. So with oneconsole, a PS4 gamer could play 99% of 3rd party titles, plus exclusives like Uncharted, Gran Turismo, Ratchet and Clank, MLB the Show, Little Big Planet, God of War, Bloodborne, Infamous, The Order (personally like the game and looking forward to a sequel), Killzone, Driveclub, TLoU (the sequel is inevi...
@ spartan112g
Nintendo misses out on more than CoD and AC. For instance, Far Cry 4, Aliens Isolation, GTA V, Dragon Age, Shadow of Mordor. They also won't be getting Witcher 3, Batman, MGS V, Mass Effect 4, and a ton more 3rd party games. Don't try and downplay that fact by only naming 2 yearly franchises, as if they are the only thing Nintendo is missing.
Nintendo will be missing out on too many 3rd party games to be considered number 1 for quality gaming experiences. Not saying their games aren't high quality, but for every quality Nintendo title there are atleast two they will not get.
@ septic
You like telltale games? How's the gameplay there?
Just because something doesn't sell well doesn't mean it shouldn't be made. Microsoft is the publisher of one of my favorite RPGs, Lost Odyssey. It probably didn't sell as well as they liked, but it was a great game nonetheless. I wish they would make a sequel.
