I can't see the Vita finding an audience in the future.

They're targeting the home console experience on a handheld, and it's never gonna be as good as the actual home console experience.

The Vita's biggest competition is the PS3 and the 360.

The Virtual Boy didn't even sell as many units as the Wii U has in it's whole lifetime.

In fact, the Wii U had outsold the Virtual Boy's lifetime sales in a mere 2 weeks.

But please, go on about how the Wii U is the next Virtual Boy.

In Australia it's acceptable to use both :)

I think they will turn the Wii U around, yeah, it won't be easy. They've already started with many of the games needed to turn it around, many have already been announced, some have been released, and there are also rumoured games that have had "leaks" like the Zelda that they decided not to show at E3 (but could have).

The Wii U will probably be fine (they also need a lot of advertising), it has the games coming to keep it alive.

I know what you mean, but you could get all that and more for the same price as the PS4, and nobody ever points that out.

Funny.

Other countrie's sales are nowhere near as bad as Poland's.

4561d ago 3 agree4 disagreeView comment

What do you mean, they don't care?

They're supporting it (albeit in 2014, mostly) with many of their biggest franchises like Mario Kart, Zelda, 3D Mario, Donkey Kong, and Xenoblade's sequel.

It's floundering right now, but Nintendo has a long term plan, they're releasing many of their much needed games at the launch of the other next-gen consoles, then later when they're going to be experiencing their games drought.

They do focus on handheld.

Nintendo is fine.

The Wii U isn't at the moment. Especially in Poland, apparently.

Japan is a much larger market, though.

But yeah, this is a depressingly low number.

I don't think they'd cut the 3DS off in it's prime.

It's probably just so they don't have to call the page : 3DS (and 2DS).

Oh.

That's just....

Oh.

Okay then...

I'll just...

Bye.

The only problem that I have with the Xbox One is that all of the games on it can be bought on other systems/PC, and I'm not really into Halo or Forza.

If Microsoft can compel me with a new exclusive that's more my style, then I'll buy one.

4562d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

I think it will, MAYBE.

Especially since Nintendo is handling the marketing and they're hyping it up as if it was their own game.

Also, Rayman Legends sold more on the Wii U than on the PS360, so it is definitely possible to outsell other console's versions on the Wii U.

And those Mario games aren't direct competition, they're aimed at younger audiences than Bayonetta. If anything they'll help drive the install base up for...

If it's that bad then they probably could have read reviews.

And the 3DS's power is not massive enough to effect the gameplay that much, unless they wanted to add something like completely destructible environments or the like, which Monster Hunter hasn't had in the past (and could ruin the game, IMO). Other than that there is nothing that the 3DS can't do gameplay-wise that the VITA, hell, even the PS4, couldn't do.

Since the dawn of 3D g...

Yeah! With a few updates (integrating it into the OS more, etc.), it could actually become a massive selling point for the Wii U.

That's if they market it well, their marketing hasn't been too hot recently.

I saw that stained glass Link drawing, it's freaking incredible.

4563d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Are they still angry that Nintendo beat them at their own game?

4563d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment

3DS sales are not every single DS model put together.

If they were then Nintendo would be claiming that the 3DS has sold over 200 million.

The 3DS had outsold the PS3 in Japan only a year into it's life (2012). It's doing OK I think.

Most gamers aren't mature adults.

And Nintendo will keep trying with the console business as long as they have their thriving handhelds.

Why? Because Pokemon.
