I'm glad the Wii U is getting good press (finally).
I think it's a great system, but it really doesn't click with you until you've had it in your house for a while, and after you have you almost wonder how you survived without it.
And the update coming soon (which keeps getting delayed) that should speed up the OS and update a few other things that haven't been disclosed yet.
For me the Wii was a bit of a love-hate relationship.
It's online experience was terrible, it's eShop was cringeworthy and I wasn't a fan of the UI, but it had some stellar games (some of the best games of last gen, IMO) that kept bringing me back to it.
I still open up Wii-mode on the Wii U sometimes to play the great games the Wii had, now we just need to get the Wii U some of those games (and they ARE coming, now we just have to wait).
Nope, as I said earlier, the graphics look bad this close up, but when you consider that there are 100+ heroes on the screen, as well as civilians and 20+ enemies at a same time while you're travelling on a gigantic bus that's flying through the city, the camera is normally so zoomed out that you can't even notice that the people look slightly worse than what you'd expect from a game that only has 1-10 people on-screen in a static environment.

The magic of this game isn't that the character models are particularly detailed, it's that there are over 100 of them, as well as civilians and 20+ enemies on screen at the same time.
The camera is usually zoomed out so far that it doesn't matter that the character models don't look incredible close up, in fact they look really good considering how far back the camera is meant to be.
It's not just the criminals that are the problem, look at this story. It was an eight year old kid. You think he's importing drugs illegally?

The gun's illegal, but it had to have come from somewhere. They normally steal it from the original legal owner.
There aren't any legal owners in Australia, there aren't any guns to be stolen.
It's much harder for a criminal to gain access to a weapon when they're illegal. Sure, they might still get one, but it'll be a lot harder for them.
Put it this way, I live in Australia and have seen a real gun once in my life, didn't touch it, just saw it.
I'm from Australia, where the gun laws are a lot more strict than anywhere in America, and you barely ever hear about shootings here, the most recent one was a 22-year-old baseball player who was holidaying in America and was shot and killed by three TEENAGERS that he didn't even know.

I played GTA: San Andreas when I was around that age. I'm not screwed up.
If the kid has done something like that, then it's because there was already something wrong with the child, not that the game has suddenly turned a normal boy into a killer. He probably already had self-control issues to begin with.
Also, America really needs to fix their gun laws. I kid of that age should not have been able to access a weapon like that.
If exclusivity didn't exist, then everyone would just buy the cheapest or most powerful console.
Exclusives are the defining feature of a console, IMO.
I bought a Wii U to play Nintendo's exclusives, I'll probably buy a PS4 for the Sony exclusives. And I might buy an Xbox One for it's exclusives (IDK, I'm not a massive fan of Microsoft's exclusives).
Well, I guess it depends if you have a good PC.

I think it's the consumers fault, too.
Consumers look at the Wii U and think of it as a kiddie console.
I showed my friend the trailer for "X" and he said it looked great and asked what console it's on. When I told him Wii U only he suddenly decided that it looked kiddie.
Why are devs going to release their supposedly "hardcore" games on a console that people won't buy because of a lack of "hardcore"...

They probably could have adapted the Murphy gameplay better for the Xbox 360.
You can tell it was definitely made for the Wii U and then ported over later.
I've played this level on the Wii U and it definitely plays better than "Tap B repeatedly to make Murphy tickle the monster".
I hope they don't focus on Murphy as much in the actual game as they did in the two Wii U demos.

Yeah, it's great being able to do that. I've been doing that on the Wii U for around half a year, and I honestly can't understand how I gamed without that ability to take it off-TV.
I haven't used my TV for gaming in months.
Maybe they could use the touch pad on the back?

It'd be simply amazing to see this show. Just amazing. The music in Zelda games is incredible.
I hope there's a noticeable difference between the Wii U version and the PS360 versions. I'm tired of the console getting sloppy ports that make it look less powerful than it is.
