Says Wii U should cost 199, will buy PS4 for 400 and probably the xbox one for 500.
Even though the Wii U will have a whole lot more content (and better, at that) when the PS4 and Xbox One launch.
People freaked out when there were tiny differences between the Wii U and PS360 versions of the games calling it last gen etc.

Nintendo always cares more about the handhelds than the consoles. That's just how it is I guess, and they are king at handheld gaming.

You act as if something being a "gimmick" is a bad thing. The definition of gimmick is "a device used to attract business". If you're calling a touchscreen a gimmick, you may as well call the gaming industry as a whole a gimmick.

You don't have to look down to use the gamepad screen either, it's optional to have anything displayed on there. If the devs wanted to they could make it function in exactly the same way as the touchpad.
The fact that they don't means that the devs obviously prefer touchscreens to touchpads.
When I first saw it, I, too was doubting the game. But every single trailer released since then has made me feel more and more stupid for doubting it in the first.
There hasn't ever been a "bad" (mainline) Mario series game.
I don't know how they do it. And the games generally introduce new things too, how do they keep it fresh and fun? I tell you, there's a bit of that Nintendo magic in every Mario game.

Jett Rocket on the Wii, used only 42mb and looked almost as good as mario galaxy and Nano Assault Neo used only one of the Wii U's cores and looked better than most PS360 games.

Shin'en isn't just "anything", they are king at getting the most out of hardware. Just looks at Jett Rocket on the Wii Shop, that game looks as good as Mario Galaxy, but is limited by the measly download caps the original Wii had (42mb or something).

This whole "fanboy" thing needs to stop, it's holding the games industry back. Sure, I have a preference of which system I would like to play a game on, but just because of that I shouldn't feel the need to tell others that they should feel the same way. 3D world could be great as well, but it just depends if you're into 3D platformers.
Monolith hasn't done heaps since Xenoblade (apart from helping out with Animal Crossing), hopefully they're trying to surprise us with the game coming out sooner than expected.
I think there's a good chance it'll be as good (or close to it) as Mario Galaxy. Especially with dat 3D multiplayer.

And how is the fact that the top rated game on the console is third party a bad thing? I thought we wanted good third party support on our consoles?
Yes, Galaxy is a last gen title, but a main series 3D Mario game hasn't yet came out on the Wii U, and 3D World looks like it could be as good as the Galaxy games.
