Exactly, the system plus a 500 gig to 1 terabyte hard drive is still $50 cheaper.
Oh, whatever happened to maths? 300 plus 50 is 350, not 400.
Honestly. That's just sad.
And online that costs money.
Trust me, the Wii U is the cheaper alternative.
Am I the only one that has trouble loading IGN videos? They just seem to take FOREVER to load, and it really annoys me.
I like the idea of just taking it to your friends house in your pocket.
That could be a real selling point.
Nintendo basically paid for Bayonetta 2.
You have the same chance of getting that game as you do getting Mario on your PS4.
An FPS made by Nintendo could be great.
But they've got Metroid, and they could add in FPS multiplayer in it (the prime games are more adventure than FPS).
It's not that quiet unless you're in a loud room, I wouldn't listen to it too loud anyway, it's not hard to damage your hearing (I'm already pushing it by playing the drums).
I actually just downloaded it then, didn't realise it was F2P.
It seems like it really wants me to buy stuff. I'm sure it's possible to beat without paying money.
Right?
RIGHT???
The Wii U GamePad sounds fine.
I've never cared for plants vs zombies, but that is just phenominal. It's outsold most AAA games lifetime sales in a much shorter timeframe.
To me it seems like you're getting a very similar system to the PS4, at a higher price.
That is, unless you like the Kinect (and FIFA in Europe).
Yes, if they understood that Mario Kart Smash Bros., X, Mario 3D World, DKC: TF, and that Yarn Yoshi game were right around the corner they'd know that those games would boost the console's sales exponentially, then they'd actually realise that now is the best time to buy stocks in Nintendo.
I actually expect the Wii U to outsell the Xbox One at launch.
PS4 will probably be in the lead, but who knows, Mario Kart and Smash Bros. will be coming out and that could upset the balance.
I think the price drop was Nintendo's way of trying to keep the Wii U in stores, since many stores were already selling them at a way lower price than the recommended one, and the retailers were taking a loss with every console they sold.
This way the retailers get to keep the console at that price (or close enough to it) without taking a loss on the console.
Before this, the retailers were the ones taking the loss on the consoles, not Nintendo. Now the r...
Nintendo is far from one of the "worst companies" in the industry.
EA, yeah.
Kid friendly is a good thing.
Friend codes are gone on the Wii U.
They've said that they haven't quite worked it out yet.
That means they're working on it.
But it's probably not going to change in the next system update.
They probably wanted to keep the loading times down with the OS. They're already slow, but imagine if it was a normal hard drive, rather than a solid state.
