I don't care for shooters (although Titanfall does look good), and Project Cars looks as good as Forza and Driveclub, so I think the Wii U owners will get along fine.
That is, unless they bought the console expecting AAA FPS explosion fests with good graphics.
The guy didn't really work out.
The girl was good.
When it's scanning your face, the screen it shows with all the cubes making a model of your face is really creepy.
Just watch a mature horror movie if that's all you want.
Are you going to buy it when MK8 comes out? Or are you waiting for Smash Bros.?
It didn't matter that the GameCube didn't sell as well as expected, Nintendo still made money off the thing. Nintendo is very good at making business decisions, and if the Wii U fails I can hardly see it recording a large loss.
Nintendo said themselves that they were thinking about showing Zelda at E3 this year, but decided at the last minute that it wasn't ready. I expect it to be revealed before MK8 and Smash Bros come out, but it will come out as much as a year and a half after reveal.
Just speculation, though.
Metroid might take a while longer, unless they have a different team working on it (which could make it turn into another Other M), because Retro is preoccupied with t...
If you want good graphics go outside.
I wouldn't buy a PS3 right now, there isn't going to be much more support for it once the PS4 comes out, and it's going to lose a lot of it's resale value.
So... Are you waiting for Mario Kart, or Smash Bros.?
Yeah, if I were you I'd wait until MK8 and Smash Bros. come out.
Just gotta hope that the sales don't disappear once all the console faithfuls have bought them, remember, the Wii U had a lot of pre-orders too (not as many as the PS4, but you can't expect the casual crowd from the Wii to pre-order a console), and the Wii U tapered off after a while on the shelves.
The Wii U does have "a ghost of a chance".
Remember the Wii? Yeah, that.
The thing is, a real game on a handheld is a short game on the go, not some massive AAA title that you would expect on consoles.
People with handhelds don't want that, to them it just seems more practical to get out a system for the 5 or so minutes they're on the bus and play through a level or two, that's not gonna happen with a lot of the "real games" that the Vita has.
@AceBlazer13's "Nintendo made ps2?" comment:
The DS outsold the PS2.
While I agree that the Vita has better hardware, the 3DS is the better handheld, because that is determined by the games, and the 3DS definitely has the best games.
Nintendo doesn't need to do anything, especially this.
Indeed, it seems everyone thinks that the PS4 has already won, when that's not the case, it's not even out yet.
It could launch with great sales for the first week, then drop off for ages.
Oh. And I was thinking of getting one.
It only has one screen, apparently it cut costs, but it means no joint and no 3D.
The Wii U had nearly that amount of preorders. It dropped off quickly after the first week or two.
