One of his points was that it could receive updates while turned "off" and then maybe even install them, but it would most likely have to be installed while turned on.
The wii u is about to get an update that allows updates to be downloaded while turned "off" or even while playing a game.
The official EB games facebook page just posted about how you can get it NOW.
He was brilliant in Dark Knight Rises. Make him like that, and they CAN do this because it's set before the other games, so they could talk about how he was transformed into the big dumb brute.
But if the PS4 is priced at 500 then it's competitive, from what I can tell Microsoft doesn't think Nintendo is a competitor.
@Miyamoto
Today I actually saw a Wii U going for cheaper than an Xbox 360. Granted, it was an Xbox bundle with two games, but it's still pretty absurd.
And the PS4 will probably be way more.
I'm glad we were spared from Aliens.
To be fair the 3DS started out looking very much like it would fail, in the same situation as the Wii U is now. But Nintendo could still be doing a better job with the Wii U.
Nintendo delays their games because they make sure the game is as close to perfect as possible, and with Nintendo games they get pretty darn close to perfect.
@Mr_Writer I expect the wii u to sell a lot more steadily than the wii did, in other words it won't suddenly stop selling like the wii did.
But who knows, we'll have to see what wii u games look like when compared to PS4/720 games.
IMO the GamePad makes me say WOW more than the wiimotes ever did.
You'd be surprised how great it is, Mario and dumping at the same time. Oh, and if someone's using the TV it's ok too.
Honestly I haven't used the TV for gaming in ages now.
Storyline twists to shock fans? The storyline twist at the very end of Arkham City was massive, so if there were more like that then that'd be great.
Nintendo is publishing it. Would you rather it only exist on one console, or that it doesn't exist at all?
Heard a rumor that dev kits were free now, if so then it's great news for indie devs.
Haha, I wish.
Nintendo is constantly working on games, they never hold a finished game back to give mercy on the competition. Most companies want to have a monopoly, so if it was within Nintendo's grasp they wouldn't hold back.
Although I do expect quite a showing at this years E3, what with Smash Bros. screenshots, 3D Mario, Wind Waker HD, "X", Pikmin 3, and possibly more (mario kart?). Along with third parties and such, if they don't h...
Where are the 1st party games? In development. Nintendo takes their time with software. Just look to Pikmin 3, for example.
PS3 had less in the same time of it's life.
Yeah, PS3 is probably best at the moment. But with the Wii U Nintendo seems to be catching up. In a few years they might be better for the indies. :O
Just give out free non specific action figures with every purchase. I don't know about you, but that'd make me want one.
Exactly. Sony is in more trouble, especially if the PS4 doesn't do really well (even if it does go well, if they're selling it at a loss they might be in trouble).
Sony is in a pretty bad financial situation, I was surprised when they announced the PS4 because the PS3 was just picking up steam.
I don't want to see Sony go, but if they sell at a loss (or don't sell well at launch) then they're in danger of going bankrupt.
tl;dr: Son...
